Connor blinked in surprise as he heard the girl state that she knew what happened and bolted out of the classroom gripping a bottle in her hand. He raised a brow in question. "What was that all about?" He mused as he tried to find something to do, it was not good to show up to a class late and he had just found out why.

Millie entered her potions classroom and looked about to see if anything was wrong or out of place. "Any problems Miss Adams?" She asked as she went about the cauldrons that the students who had been hit with the solution to see if anyone had been able to compleate their potions while she awaited the answer to her question. She frowned as she noticed only Kris had been close enough to compleation. Even with this realization she could not give him marks for it.

"Thanks," whispered Asher to Summer, feeling a strong bit of gratitude towards her.. His potion was definitely not up to standards, and the smell was starting to fill the room. He quickly emptied the cauldron out, hoping that the smell wouldn't kill them all as it was threatening to do so. He saw the Professor enter the room and a smirk formed on his face. The board was clean, so he wasn't going to get in any trouble.

Jessica shrugged and glanced at Asher, nothing. Syne just ran out like two seconds ago muttering about how she knows why the potion went wrong.
Artemis, a bit bored, watched the girl run from the room and shrugged, maybe it was just some stupid prank. No one does good ones anymore. she sighed.

Summer smirked, "Now you owe me two." she whispered back to him as the teacher entered. She grinned at Artemis as she had noticed her take a vial too, and nodded in agreement it. She turned back to the teacher and glanced at Jessica, before glancing at the teacher again. Awaiting to see what the mugglelover had to say and if she'd carry on. Shrugging, she noticed that one of the Malfoy twin's potion was still lit, but she wasn't going to take it off so she just sat down and waited for further instructions.

"Alright." Millie sighed. "I'll take that as a no. Now in light of todays situation I am giving a special homwork assignment so I want you to make sure you do this properly." She said sternly and waved her wand at the board. The potion information dissapeared and was replaced by this:
Potions Homework:
1. Two paragraphs, one on each of the following: A) why it is important to check your ingredients for possible contamination before you use them. B) Why it is important to add the correct ingredients and follow the directions exactly.
((OOC: Yes i am aware this is harsh but the professor is not pleased that this happened and she wants to drive it home the need for safty with such volitle things. and the latter potions will be including more dangerous materials, this is why.))

Lana groaned that she had homework to do for potion. She quickly jotted the assignment down on a piece of parchment and shoved it in her bag. She didn't understand why the entire class had to do the assignment. If anything, it should just be the Malfoy twins. They were stupid enough not to check their ingredients.

"What?" said Asher weakly, his mouth hanging open. He hated homework and she was gonna give him two paragraphs. He closed his mouth and looked at Lana and Summer with raised eyebrows. "She's gotta be kidding me..." He regained his composure and spoke, "So uh... Wanna help me with the work, Summer?" he asked, putting on puppy dog eyes.

Summer shrugged, "Whatever" she muttered as she noted it down. "Apparently not." she replied as she turned to Asher. Summer glanced into his puppy dog eyes, then jolted back from agreeing. She rolled her eyes and nodded, "Fine." she said in a fake voice that said she was annoyed. "You'll owe me three though." she added grinning.

Lana stood in the middle watching both Summer and Asher. She cleared her throat to get their attention. "And how about me," Lana said. "Is anyone going to help me with the homework? But, if you guys rather work on it alone...I rather not intrude." Lana threw her bag over her shoulders and looked back and forth from Summer and Asher.

"Once you have your potions bottled and handed in, make sure you copy down the homework assignment then you may go." She finished with a dismissal. She just wanted the students gone so she could get thier grading on thier last homework done and take her mind off of the accident. plus she had a letter to her father she needed to write.

"But I'm your friend... friends shouldn't owe each other anything," spoke Asher, trying to put on a pleading face even though he was grinning a good bit. He heard Lana trying to get their attention and turned around to hear what she was saying. As her words came out, Asher blushed a bright red and his smile was wiped from his face. "Er, no, you help too," he mumbled. Lana was always hinting at stuff betweeen Asher and Summer, and that was making Asher very confused lately.

Summer grinned, grabbed her stuff and flung her bag over her shoulder. "Yeah, you can just copy it." she said agreeing, not bothered about the hint as it was clearly not true. Her eyes widened slightly upon the sight of his red face, clearly unable to handle a joke. At least, she hoped it was one. "Friends owe each other more." she said grinning as she counted it up, "So... 3-0 to me, then."
She was standing above her tucked in chair, as she waited for them so they could leave together.

"But what about history of magic? I helped you with your work in there," disagreed Asher as he grabbed his books and waited beside Summer. "So really it should be 3 to 1." Asher's face was still slightly pink, but he was much more relaxed now. However, he'd have to get after Lana for all the stupid hints she was dropping. It was almost like a bloody easter hunt except with hints instead of eggs.

Summer laughed, "Fair enough." she said, even though she wouldn't count History of Magic as one cause it was such a minor thing. She shrugged it off, "Still owing me," she said grinning as she had totally forgotten about the hint that didn't bother her. But the blushing still fascinated her, "You don't have a schoolboy crush on her too, do you?" she asked Asher in a whisper.
