Sitting at the Gryffindor table

[Milificent Bergstrom]

Kristoff entered the great hall and sat down at the Gryffindor table for lunch. He pulled a couple pieces of chicken onto his plate and put a large spoonful of mashed potaotes beside it. He topped it with Gravy and began to eat not noticing as the others came into the Great hall behind him.

[Jessica Adams]

Jessica entered the Great Hall and noticed it was pretty empty. She sat on the long Gryffindor table across from the new boy, "Hi, I'm Jessica." She pulled a sandwich onto her plate and grabbed a juice. She took an apple from a pile and bit into it slowly.

Kris looked up at the girl as he heard her speak. "Hi Jessica, I'm Kristoff but pleas call me Kris, I hate my name." He grimaced "So I just go by Kris." He looked about the empty hall. "Guess people arn't hungry." He muttered taking another bite of his chicken.

[Jessica Adams]

Jessica shrugged, "Ok Kris." She nodded to his other comment, "There aren't that many students yet. Have you done anything around here lately besides go to class? I've been a bit bored." She chewed thoughtfully, glad to have another Gryffindor in her house.

"Well somethimes I relax in the Room of Requirement. Other times I just hang out with whoever I can and go to the Lake or play games. You know, the usual." He shrugged. "So I saw you in potions class, you seemed to struggle a bit, not your best class?" He cocked his head in question. "If I am being too nosey then just tell me." He smiled at her.

[Jessica Adams]

Jessica nodded, "Thats cool. I haven't done much. I went down to the lake and made enemies with a couple of Slytherins already."
She shrugged, "Nah, thats ok. And no I'm thinking its not my best subject at all. I haven't done much yet so... I grew up with muggles." She

[Milificent Bergstrom]

"I see." Kris nodded, then frowned. "So the Slytherins are already being thier normal creep selves eh?" He grumbled and looked at the Slytherin table. "My dad is a wizard and my mum is a muggle." He told her. "My sister is the Deputy Headmistress and potions mistress but seeing as she was out of the house when I was born we don't talk that much, too much a difference in age I guess. My dad is expecting me to become some powerful wizard and make a difference in the world." He sighed. "But I don't know, I would rather be a Quidditch player." He blushed. "Sorry, I'm rmbling now about my life and we don't really even know each other." He looked back to his food emberrased.

[Jessica Adams]

Jessica listened and then nodded at his comment, "Its alright. I am a pureblood. I never knew my parents though. I grew up in an orphanage and don't really know much about this world." She waved her hands, "I don't even know who she is. All I know is that she was forced to give me up."

[Milificent Bergstrom]

"Wow" Kris looked back up. So you still have no idea who she is or why she had to give you up?" He asked in surprise. "I'm sorry." He mumbled. He could not even begin to imagine how it would feel to not know who your parents were. "So how do you like it here so far?" he asked.

[Jessica Adams]

Jessica shrugged, "Well I'm Ok with it. And I think there is more of a chance of finding her when I'm here, since she is a wizard." She shrugged, "Its ok. Except when I met those Slytherins it wasn't exactly the most fun thing ever." She grinned.

[Milificent Bergstrom]

"Yeah well they can tend to be bullies." He sighed and glared at Summer and Lana. "Especially those two." He motioned to the two Slytherin girls and looked back to Jessica. "So what is it like in the Orphanage?" He asked curiously. "I mean I know what it's like to grow up in the Muggle world seeing as mum insisted that before Hogwarts we get some Muggle schooling in. But I have never been to an Orphanage."

Jessica smiled, "Its not as bad as some make it out to be. There are a lot of kids and always something to do. Its like living in a school, well it sort of is because that is where school is. You grow up around a lot of other people and they sort of become your family."

[Milificent Bergstrom]

Kris nodded in understanding. "So what do you like, class wise. I'm pretty good at potions and Charms but I suck at Transfig and Astronomy. DADA is not my best subject either and I don't seem to like that professor that is teaching it." He grimaced.

[Jessica Adams]

Jessica nodded, "I'm pretty good at Transfiguration and Charms and Ok at DADA. I'm bad at Potions and Astronomy though." She had a thoughtful look on her face, "I know hes wierd. He seems to want teach us different magic then the other teachers."

[Kristoff Bergstrom]

Kris nodded "Yeah well I don't like him." he said irritatedly. "Plus there's just something about him that I can't put my finger on yet but." He sighed and stopped himself before he said something too damaging with regaurds to a professor. "Well I just don't like him."
