((I guess you can figure what this is about by the title, lol. Spaz time))
Summer threw a rock at the lake and watched it skim the water, bouncing on it for a while before it fell in. She stared at the ripples as though entranced by them. But what froze her speech, blanked her face and stupefied her body was the epic battle in her mind.
He's a Ravenclaw! A HALF-BLOOD!, she screamed her mother's teachings into her brain. True, she had screamed 'Halfblood' instead of 'Blood Traitor' but she couldn't and for some stupid and insane reason, wouldn't call him that. She's even refrained from saying, 'mugglelover' in front of him. Why though? That was the question that was playing in her mind at that moment. It was the reason that the war in her mind lingered on like the Great War between Voldemort and Harry. Why the hell would you like him? she asked herself harshly in her bitter tone, Cause he's sweet and he is funny, extremely funny, she started. Her voice was softer and kinder, the way that it was at night, and he's ho-NO! Don't even go there. Drew Fuller is hot. But then he's a pureblooded Wizard... A Seagall isn't... Got it, Summer? She asked herself.
Summer whacked her hand down on the ground in fustration, still no closer to finding a solution of peace in the war that had erupted slowly during the years. She sighed as a erupting pain that through her hand, but she didn't even feel it as she was too lost in thought. Leaning back against the tree, she closed her eyes.
Mother would kill you! she warned herself, But then when have you ever listened to her anyway? Suddenly she snapped her eyes open as she began to visualise him. Yes, him. Blood gushed out slowly from the small cut that had opened on the side of her hand.
[[Ok, that's enough. I'm sleeping, too tired. Err and you (Ryan) thought that it was mad before, lol. Anyone can join but she won't really listen.. Unless it's Asher. Or Lana (where she'll pretend not to be thinking). She'll listen to Asher if he gets here... Sorry for any spelling mistakes- usually have some in long winded posts and too tired to figure it out so..]]

((LOL. Wow, I've never had a post titled one of my character's names before. Woot woot! Anyway... here we go. You've set very high standards in this thread. Crap. *Cracks knuckles and begins typing*))
Asher leaned against the outside castle wall staring into space. On the outside he looked passive and calm, but on the inside the wheels were churning in deep thought. He was confused, and he knew it. And what was even more confusing was the fact that he didn't understand why he was confused in the first place. It's all stupid Lana's fault, thought Asher, trying to blame his confusion on someone.
When you thought about it though, it really was her fault. Asher had never looked at Summer that way, but then Lana had kept dropping all those stupid hints the size of military tanks everywhere. And since Asher was still a young teenager, his mind was still easily twisted and turned. So now, Asher was wondering what his true feelings were on one of his friends. Summer to be precise. He'd always thought she was pretty. And that she was funny and smart. Well, maybe not the smart thing, but that's beside the point. Now though, there was something else. Something that was really bugging Asher like a stupid mosquito that just won't bugger off.
Asher looked down at the lake and saw a rock skim across. He looked to where it's original thrower was and saw Summer. Without even a second glance, Asher quickly made his way down the steps to where the lake was. When he reached there, he saw Summer against a tree deep in thought. "Hey," he greeted as he took a seat down beside her and rested his head against the ground. He looked over to see that her hand was bleeding. "... What'd you do to your hand?" asked Asher quietly. He felt weird.
((BTW, you just had to include Drew Fuller didn't you, lol. And also, this was a very good post for me. And very long. Woot woot! I lived up to the standards!))

((Lol, I know! I had thought of a weird long title but then I thought... Hey... Asher would be way better. Anyway... You've set it even higher with your stupid A* English words so..)) Staring into the forest, not really consuming the vision in front of her, Summer sat there. She let out a quick gasp as the light began to play tricks with her eyes. The image of Asher was forming in front of her before she broke eye contact with the forest. Geez, what is wrong with you? she snapped at herself bitterly as she blinked the image that was embedded in her mind away. Her hair was blowing sideways in the wind, as she leaned back up. It's reverse psychology, clearly. I mean, if my annoying family didn't tell me that I CAN'T talk to Halfbloods then this wouldn't of happened. Wait- Nothing is happening so shut it, Cyn. Cynthia, was Summer's original name yet she never told anyone that as she hated it. She used to always scoff at her own name, and her family was forced to change it. Cynthia was pretty dull and slow on the uptake, yes. But even she knew what Lana was hinting. Though she hadn't said anything, during the potion Lessons and such, she wondered whether or not it was true. Yeah but he only sees you as a Friend. I mean, he doesn't go around blushing at everything to do or say, like he does for stupid Blondie, she thought as she whacked her hand down at the ground again. This time, it hit some of the upper roots of the tree that she sat against. Not caring for the blood that ran on the tree, she ran her hand through her hair. Most likely, getting some on her cheek. Her mind continued dwelling on the events that had taken place, during the years. She didn't even remember why she had talked to Asher in the first place, she didn't even know when they had met. Her hand snapped up as she realised and remembered their first ever meeting. She had meet with him, the mugglelover who she even called, Jessica, infront of him and Lana here at the lake. Stupid doofus nearly killed himself. she thought, but her lip formed into a small grin as she thought about the times that they had together. Smiling to herself, she didn't notice nor hear the stranger that dwelled in her mind appear. "Huh?" she asked bluntly as she turned to see someone in shock. She slipped slightly, slipping sideways off the tree, as she noticed it was Asher. She wondered whether or not he was a figment of her imagination, again. Shrugging, she thought she'd reply as if he wasn't really there then she'd only be talking to herself. And talking to herself out aloud couldn't be worse then doing it in her mind, now could it? "Oh right, err.." she muttered, unsure of what he had asked or what was happening. She quickly followed his gaze and noticed her hand, "Oh, I'm, bleeding." she said to herself, as she hadn't acknowlegded it before. After a brief pause, something weird ticked her inside. She knew that she didn't know that much about him and he didn't know too much about her either, "Did you know..." she began as she thought of something to tell him about herself, "What's my name?" she asked. Yes, it sounded like a blonde moment but she knew what she was saying and asking. For once, during the course of the whole night, she knew what she was doing and was in control of her thoughts and words. ((*sighs* I think that's enough. And yes, I did just HAVE to include him lol. Lol, you went way past the standard. So far that's it just a dot to you, lol.))

((I don't use A english words...))
Asher awkwardly pulled a hankerchief out of his pocket and tossed it over to Summer, so she could wipe the blood off. "I doubt you want that all over you," he joked weakly. He felt like their was a war going on his stomach, and it certainly didn't feel too great. It was the same feeling he had when he saw Deity, yet slightly different too. Unlike with Deity, Asher actually had something to lose with Summer.
What's my name?
Asher looked over at Summer for the first time and a curious expression showed clearly on his face. "What's your name?" he repeated, to make sure he was hearing right. I suppose she's gone and cracked finally, he thought to himself though a grin didn't form from this conclusion like it would have normally done. "Summer," he said slowly, wondering why on earth she needed to hear this.
((I finally had to drop down from the stupid standards, lol. You win.))

((Woohoo! So I can do short and sweet posts now! lol))
The tinyest smile appeared on Summer's lip, even though the anger and the pain, it was still sincere. "Thanks," she muttered as she took the hankerchief. She attempted to tie it around her hand, with somewhat difficulty as she was right handed and her right hand was the one damaged.
Summer sighed as she heard what he thought was her name, "I meant my real name." she said hopelessly as she knew that he wouldn't of known it. No, she hadn't lost the plot. In fact, it was the only time this night that her mind was actually working. She continued to fiddle with the hankerchief. Finally giving up, she brought up her wand and muttered, "Scourify", cleaning it. "Argh", she let out as the pain of using her wand hand erupted through her. She handed back the clean cloth, "It's fine, I don't need it." she lied as she didn't want to say that she couldn't do it without using her teeth and looking like a weirdo infront of him.
She bite back the inside of her lip as she wondered what in Merlin's name was she supposed to say to Asher. She couldn't exactly tell him that he was playing on her mind again, and he was the cause of this madness in her mind.
((And no you don't. You use A* English Words!))

"Don't hurt yourself..." commented Asher with a grin finally starting to form on his face. He hated that feeling in his stomach and grinning seemed to help it. At least, it certainly made him feel more relaxed. He took the hankerchief from her and his hand accidently slipped and touched hers. Asher's face went pink and he quickly withdraw the cloth and his hand from hers. "Sorry," he mumbled as he turned away.
I meant my real name.
Asher thought that Summer was her real name. "Erm, I don't know it then," he said honestly as he couldn't imagine what her real name was. As long as it's not LaTonka or something, it's fine, he thought to himself.
((I didn't realize it... sweetness. Anyway, there's a blushing moment, lol))

((Lmao)) Summer pulled her hand back down to her. She sat with her right arm crossing her crest and the left one, which Asher had touched, placed on top of it. Her lips were pressed against the knuckles. She figured out that he clearly didn't like her as if someone you cared about was bleeding then you'd find a spell to help them. And if not then at least you'd tie the hankerchief for them. Asher did neither. Hence proving to her that he truly didn't care enough about her. Summer nodded, "It's the worst name you can think of." she said with a scoff, "Cynthia." she said as though it was enough to put him off her. But she didn't care as she knew that he didn't like her anyway. ((Sleep!! Good night ))

"That's not too bad," said Asher, hovering between a lie and the truth. It certainly was better than LaTonka which he had feared might have actually been her name. "But at least your name doesn't remind everyone of a burnt seagull," he added, so she wouldn't feel bad. He noticed a slightly disgruntled look on her face and wondered what he'd done to her to make her look like that.
"Why'd you decide to tell me that now?" Asher suddenly asked.
((It's not my fault that Asher isn't too good at the whole emotional thing... BTW, I thought of a good ending for this thread which would leave Summer shocked and Asher embarrassed))

((Lol true. He's useless But she's gonna try and get him to do something emotional and probably fail lol. Oooh, go you!! BTW Asher's gonna be one of her boggarts LOL.))
Summer paused for a moment, then glanced up. She pulled a face of shock, her normal one that was an 'Oh My God!!' face, "You're laughing at it, aren't you?" she asked as she normally would have, once when they were comfortable around each other. "Rather a burnt seagull then a... doll with ripped out hair, as that's what it sounds like." she said scoffing. She turned back and continued with her 'disgruntled look' as she glanced down at her bleedy hand.
Shrugging at his question, she merely muttered, "Cause it's my name," after a brief pause in thought of the right answer. She clearly wasn't going to tell him the truth about it, but she didn't lie. It was her name.
She pulled her cloak around her tighter as the wind began to move in, she was too worried about the conflict in her mind that she didn't change. Realising that she was still in her nightie, she wrapped the cloak around her tighter.
((Lol, she's more of a nightie person then a PJ person, which I was going to original put))

((Lol!Good luck with that.))
"Come on now, I have to laugh a little bit at it after all the times you've poked fun at me," said Asher with a grin coming on to his face. It was true though; he liked being able to make fun of Summer since she always did so to him.
Asher noticed her looking a bit cold and paused, wondering if he should give her his cloak or something. He'd probably be cold without it, but it'd be nice to give it to her right? That's the type of thing boyfriends do. No friends do it too... But you don't want to be her friend. Oh, shut up... Asher made his decision and slipped off his cloak and handed it to Summer. "It won't be good if you freeze to death out here," he said quickly in explanation. He crossed his arms so she wouldn't see his t-shirt which had a muggle band logo on it. He knew she hated muggles and didn't want her to see it.
((Now that was sweet for Asher. Of course, now he's gonna be cold. J/k, lol))

Lana was walking back from the library when she saw her friends sitting by out at the lake. She turned to watch them and noticed that Asher's cloak was on Summer. This had to be a good sign. It took Lana a while to realize what was going on between the two, but it took them even longer. Lana always knew she was kind of thick, so if she was able to figure it out, those two should have at least figured it out too. Lana leaned out the window and wished she could have an extendable ear from the Weasley's shop, but she knew her grandfather would never approve her supporter those blood-traitor. It wouldn't have reached that far anyway. She continued to stare out the window and waited to see what would happen next.

Summer's lip brushed the top of her knuckles, as her hand was resting on the other. She smirked, "It's not my fault that you have a schoolboy crush." she said defiently, with a grin as the awkward was slowly evaporating. She glanced at the cloak in his hand for a moment, "Aren't you gonna get cold?" she asked considerably, as she was a much nicer person then him. She wondered if she should take it or not. That's the kind of thing that girlfriends do. Take it, I mean... Friends take it to though... But he's not my friend... Oh wait- Oh shut it! she snapped to herself. She would take it if he persisted but she was worried that he'd be too cold but then again, she doubted that he'd persist anyway. So yeah, basically it was all a test. She wondered what in Merlin's name was on his t-shirt as she caught a glispe of it but wasn't sure yet as to what it was. ((Lol, used your words for the memory thing.. Haha, he's not sweet though... He's mean! I was gonna make my other (future) character come and he's like some romantic charmer. And then he'd persist on it, lol. And Summer would like him and yeah... lol.))

Asher shrugged since he was no longer embarrassed about it. He already had much more embarrassing things on his mind; specifically his new found crush on Summer which he couldn't figure out. "Oh well. I can't be the only one out here that likes someone," stated Asher as a thought popped in his head. "Who do you like?"
Asher was surprised that she wasn't immediately taking it. "Probably," he answered with a shrug, "but go on and take it." He felt weird about giving it to her, but he wasn't freezing to death or anything.
((You're just trying to make Asher jealous no matter what, lol...))

Summer grinned, "Ahh now that would be telling," she said with a shrug. She chose these words instead of a shrug as it showed him that she did like someone else, beside for him, but she wasn't going to tell him who it was. She smiled softly as she took the cloak, "Thanks." she muttered. She took it gently from him, slightly awkward about it but wrapped it around her anyway as she was freezing. Obviously as she was just wearing her nightie, which was pretty thin. ((Lol yeah Aww he's soo sweet, lol jokes. Kinda... though... "And that would be the point," grinned Asher. "Go on, tell me," he said, giving her a nudge. He was really interested to hear now, and his grin slippped from his face slightly as her crush probably wasn't him. Not that I'd want it to be... Yes you would. Shut up.
Asher nodded and let out a small your welcome before putting his hands in side his shirt sleeves, so they wouldn't be cold. Hopefully no big winds would come or else Asher would freeze to death.
((Ah, it wasn't a good idea... just an interesting way to end a thread. I dunno, lol))
