"Fine. Then you can be a very pretty un-squashed person if that suits you better," said Asher with a shrug. He was remembering what Lana had told him earlier in Potions class and wondered if teasing was considered a bad thing with her. He wasn't good with compliments and all of Lana's other suggestions included flowers which Asher found quite cheesy and awkward to give to her.

((Very cheesy )) Summer smirked, "Thank you," she said grinning, "But I can't say the same for you," she added quickly with a poke of her tongue. She took a bite out her cupcake and grinned to herself. "Weren't you supposed to say, 'pretty squashed person', else you just paid me a very time compliament which backfired your previous statement." she said analytically with a grin. ((Psst she likes this place at night. That's why she's always here lol. The tree!! I should say that she wrote her name in it.. lol. Anyway, night!))

"Er..." Asher stared at blankly at Summer; he didn't understand a clue on what she just said. "Sure..." he muttered since he couldn't think of anything else to say since he had no idea what was being told to him. He gave a yawn and asked, "So why are you always out here?"
((Well Asher's gonna ask her about it... G'night))

((Fine, I'll reply while I eat an apple...))
Summer shrugged, "Cause it's peaceful..." she said softly. She loved the night, and the simmering beauty of the lake and the shining lights of the stars, were just an added bonus. It was one of her favourite places in Hogwarts, even more so at night. She'd often sit, just staring into the starry skies and the trancing beauty of the lake as she noted the darkness in the forest opposite. Sort of like the way she felt at times. The darkness within, and yet peace and hope also lived there.

Asher rolled his eyes at this sudden 'deep' answer. "Wow... that's a boring answer," he joked as he stood up. "Now what? I'm practically bouncing off the walls right now, and we need to do something fun." He looked to the lake, wondering if a midnight swim would be fun, but then remembered what happened last time.

"Shut up, Ash." she joked softly with a friendly roll of her eyes. Her hand fiddled the ground, until it found the object that it was looking for. Picking a tiny stone, she threw it at Asher's head. It was too small to do any real harm, and it would only be feel-able. Unless of course, it hit him in his eye, and in which case, it would hurt. Feeling like you had something really sharp and poking struck in your eyelid, it probably wouldn't be the best feeling in the world. Knowing Summer's unlucky aim, it was quite likely to occur that way and hit him in the eye. She glanced up, sincerely hoping that it didn't hit there, after already throwing it. Meh, her RPer thought it was his fault in the first place. If he hadn't ruined Summer's deep and emotional thoughts, that could benefit Asher in the way that he was looking for, then she wouldn't of thrown it at him. The answer was lying right in front of him, and yet he had failed to see it. And being too dull, Summer couldn't make it any more obvious as she didn't realised that he was looking for an answer on what to do next, "You know..." she began slowly, breaking the silence that had fallen over them, "The answer's always in front of you..." she said, going all philosophical on him again. In front of her eyes, lay the Forbidden Forest and this was the source of her answers, and yet she didn't want to go down that path. When she glanced up, she'd see Asher. But more importantly, she'd see hope and she'd see the lighter version of life. Now she knew that she had to choose. It all came down to one choice- good or evil? And yet as obvious as this question was, the answer didn't come so easily to her. It wasn't that easy to dismiss the evil side. Especially when it was apart of her, it was the darkness within her. Her hatred of muggles, generated from pity, was hypnotised into her. Yet she was the architect of her own destruction, the weaver of her own web.
((Meh, that's my long post of the day. Remotely long. I'm gonna quickly reply as Liz and then revise ICT all night...))

((Holy sh*t you wrote a long post... Lol... Well. Nope. I'm not doing it. Lol...))
Asher blinked as the rock whizzed by his head.. Why was she being all philosiphical? And why can't Asher's RPer spell that word? Asher wasn't good at stuff like this. He wasn't the typical Ravenclaw since he was more street smart than book smart. "The answer's right in front of me?" he repeated. "Wh..." He stopped from saying 'what' since that would make him sound stupid. More stupid. "How are you an answer to me being bored?"

((Lol You have a problem with long P words. Either of which, I'll do for A Levels. Most likely Psychology.... Mmm....)) Summer glanced up at Asher with a smile, "Forget it, Ash. You're slightly too dull," she joked, "Even more so then me." she added as she turned to look back up at the moon. The moonlight was rather beautiful. And Summer didn't realise that she was going all philosophical and she normally went all philosophical during the night time.

"Forget what?" asked Asher quickly. "Yeah, I'm not the brightest from time to time, but at least I'm honest." He looked away and tossed a cupcake in the lake. It nearly hit a duck, but instead it landed about a few feet away and sunk under the water. Why am I telling you this? So I can fill the bloody post requirements...

((Going soon, actually leaving after this post cause I have an exam tomorrow- bugger!))
Summer grinned, "Hey, I thought you liked them... Wow, you must be bored in order to waste your lifestock." she joked as she took a bite out of her own cupcake and watched the other one float away fro them,

Connor watched thier interaction and shook his head. "Look why don't you two just kiss and get it over with!" He said laughing. "It's obvious you like eachother and its high time you two just admit it if not to eachother then to yourselves." He looked at them with raised brows.

Summer's eyes widened at Connor's outbreak. He was clearly pretty behind and Asher didn't tell him that they already figured out that they liked each other. But just gaped at him, "Well look who's finally woken up..." she said cooly as she didn't bother to reply the comment and thought of letting Asher handle it. She had a good feeling that he was going to blush again, though.

And of course Asher blushed a little. "I did tell her... but she's too stubborn to actually admit to anything," he explained to Connor with a grin as he knew Summer would roll her eyes. He threw another cupcake at the water since it seemed to keep his mind off of things. Nothing really though, since Asher didn't think too much at times like this.

"Ahh." Connor cleared his throat and blushed a bit. "Well good then." He said. Then looked to the water unsure of what to say next.

((Lol, poor itty bitty Connor. Don't know where the itty bitty came from though, lol))
"Don't worry 'bout it," said Asher quickly as he noticed Connor's blush. "It'd confuse me too. Well actually it does, but that's besides the point." He paused and then asked curiously, "So are you fancying anybody out here?"
