First Meeting- Introduction

[Jessica Adams]

Artemis grinned, Finally, that took long enough. She watched the girl fling Expelliarmus and the boy jump clumsly out of the way. He aimed his wand at her and shouted a spell.

((OOC: haha all these spells are from the chamber of secrets... Serpentsorsia!))

[[Lol, And Summer will do anything to stop that from happening ]]

Summer stumbled backwards, laughing unstoppably as the spell hit her. She marvelled on the skillful dodge and retreat that Asher had proformed, a true Ravenclaw, eh? she thought to herself, still laughing. "Fin-" she started but couldn't finish it as the laughter kicked in again, STOP IT NOW! He's trying to impress Blondie over there!! You can't let that happen! she snapped at herself, suddenly with more confidence, "Finite Incantatem!" she said stopping the laughter. Smirking slightly, "Fernunculus!" she returned with her wand aiming at Asher, in attempt to cause a rash of boils on him.

[Elizabeth Aphrodite]

Deity nodded, still watching their proformance, "Nice attack, Miss Veneficus." she said as Summer caused her first spell, "Very nice dodge and return, Mr Seagle." she added with a smile. She continued to watch the duel that was occuring between them, laughing slightly as she read Summer's thoughts of jealously.

[Lana Lee]

Lana watched, pretty impressed by Summer and Asher. She didn't have much experience in dueling, but she knew a few spells up her sleeve. She wondered why Summer stop halfway through an incantion and came up with something not as servere. She probably didn't want to get in trouble in front of the Headmistress's twin sister, Lana reasoned with herself. For some reason, Lana doesn't think this professor was the type to rat on their students.

[[Lol, she stopped cause she was laughing Obviously I am braindead and didn't specfic that, lol. But i'll go and edit it now To avoid any futher confusion... I was typing it pretty fast as I was busy but I'll just modify that lol. Sheesh, still not.. ok]]

[Asher Seagle]

Asher hadn't been ready this time (he'd been too busy blushing from Deity's compliment), and the spell hit him in the hand. A sudden outbreak of boils spread across his hands causing Asher looked to them quite disgusted. In anger at being embarrassed like that, he took his wand in his left hand (his right was covered in ugly boils) and made a movement with it shouting, "Petrificus Totalus!"

[[Lol, I know, that's why she compliamented you and ew]]

Summer jumped out of the way as the spell narrowly missed her, crushing her left arm, "Argh!" she said as it hit the floor. Leaping back onto her feet, "Tarantallegra!" she yelled, her yell enforced by the pain that had hit her in her left arm, that now dangled to the side. She shot the spell with her wand aimed at Asher, in attempt to make him lose control of his legs.

[[Err, I wanted her to have a sling, lol. She's pretty clumsy!]]

[Asher Seagle]

Asher tried dodging and he nearly succeeded until the spell hit him in his left leg. The left leg started dancing uncontrollably while the right one stayed perfectly normal; it would have been quite a comical sight had it not been for the competiveness between the two. "Densaugeo!" he yelled while pointing his wand back at Summer, aiming straight for her mouth.

((Causes teeth to enlarge... so you don't have to go look it up on Lexicon or Mugglenet, lol))

[Lana Lee]

((Yeah, you might have to do that for me. cuz I'm too lazy to look stuff up on Lexicon and stuff))

Lana just watched as Summer and Asher had it out on each other. She wanted to jump in and help Summer out, but that wasn't what a duel was. Lana had no choice but to watch the two and try to avoid looking at Asher's icky hand.

[Elizabeth Aphrodite]

Deity smiled and nodded, "Ok stop-" she began as Summer got hit with the enlarging teeth spell. Her voice was drowned in the high pitch scream that exited a hufflepuff girl's mouth. She rolled her eyes and turned back to the duel, Summer was about to retaliate, "Langlock!" she quickly muttered, preventing both Summer and Asher from continuing their duel. She quickly turned to the hufflepuff and noticed that a snake was heading towards her as she had failed and hurt the snake. Deity rolled her eyes, quickly stopped the snake and lifted it gently onto her shoulder, smoothing it with her voice. She then settled the hufflepuff and returned to the dueling pair.

Motioning for them to come towards her, she gently replaced the snake into the cage. Once they approached her, she flicked her wand and muttered the countercurse to the langlock, allowing them to speak once more. "Very well done Miss Veneficus, and Mr Seagle. That was a good start by Miss Veneficus and equalling good reaction from Mr Seagle." she began, noting that they would be good students. "Oh sorry, Finite Incantatem." she muttered, ending the moving legs that Asher had going on, removing the boils from Asher and resizing Summer's teeth, and also the after affects of the tickling curse. She eyed Summer's arm, and took it in her own gently, nodding to herself, "You'll have to see the nurse about this but for now, Ferula." she said as she created a sling for Summer.

"The next pair can go up." she said loudly to the class as she turned back to Asher and Summer.

[Asher Seagle]

Asher gave a small smile to Deity before walking over to Summer and walking off the stage with her. "Well you weren't too bad," he commented slowly and then glanced at her arm. "Wanna go to the Hospital Wing together?" he asked curiously, since they were already done with their part of the lesson.

[Cynthia Veneficus]

Summer arched an eyebrow at Asher and rolled her eyes, she muttered a word of thanks to Blondie before walking off with Asher. Shrugging, she was grateful to have her teeth normal sized again, "Yeah, in a minute. Just want to see the next pair duel for a bit." she said in reply to his question as she examined her sling. "I guess you were ok...ish," she said slowly with a small smile forming on the edge of her lip, "but was it enough to impress Blondie over there? That is the question."

[Asher Seagle]

"Okish? Ah, someone just doesn't want to admit that they lost," grinned Asher jokingly. He listened to her second comment and looked back over at Deity. "I doubt it," he said with his voice sounding a bit disapointed. "I dunno how to impress people... And besides, it's just a crush. Very small. Probably the size of a jellybean if that."

[Elizabeth Aphrodite]

Summer grinned and shrugged, "Slytherin." she said the word that answered it all. All power driven ambition would be explained by that single word. Summer laughed softly, "What if we enlarge that jellybean with a simple spell?" she said, hoping that it really was very small. She noticed the hint of disappointment, "Don't worry, I think she got it already." she added lightly.

[Evan Brennan]

"I hope so," said Asher slowly as he glanced at Deity again. However he was bored of talking to about her since it was a depressing subject; this was just some stupid crush that he'd acquired that had no chance in hell. He really wanted to get rid of it, but it wouldn't leave him. "I wonder how the others will do," he commented as he looked at the others. "Of course, no one's really volunteering to actually duel. Must be too scared."
