"Watch it." she snarled with a face of utmost disgust as she walked past the gryffindor. She was going to check up on her useless little brother, who got himself into too much trouble and Summer was always the one to bail him out. She grinned as she noticed Lana was already in there, "Hey." she muttered as she noticed the snowy feathers of Mallcum, her mother's owl, souring the skies. She strolled over to the ledge and waited for the owl, arching her eyebrow in suspicion. "What does she want now?" she asked herself in an irritated and bored mutter.

Lana smiled as Kris ran into Summer. Now he has two Slytherins on him. She greeted Summer, then looked out the window to see an owl coming to the owlery. "Who is it from," Lana asked, when she heard Summer's comment. It obviously was from someone Summer didn't want to hear from.

Summer shrugged, "Oh my mother. She tends to get annoying." she said with a roll of her eyes, as she grabbed the letter from the owl. She softly stroke it with the back of her index finger that was now resting on the edge of the ledge. She brought up both hands, to open it and then returned the hand to carry on stroking while she scanned the letter.

Lana waited patiently as Summer read her letter from her mother. Lana kind of wished she had a mother. A mother that wasn't a muggle that is. Her step-mother wasn't a better substitute. "Well, what does she have to say," Lana said, crossing her arms across her chest and leaning against the wall.

Kris glared at the slytherin he had bumped into. What is this? A bloody Slytherin convention? he thought in irritation as he turned back around and walked down the stairs of the owlry and made his way grumpily to the Gryffindor common room, he had seen enough Slytherins for one day.

Summer shrugged as she crunched it up and stuffed it into her pocket. "The usual," she began, "You know, don't talk to Half-Bloods or less." she now said 'Halfbloods' instead of 'Blood Traitors', like she was supposed to. This change had occured to her since her first year, when she meet Mr Asher Seagle. "Oh and some warning about Slytherin's demand decreasing." realising that her last comment didn't make to much sense, she elaborated on it, "You know, that they are allowing Half-bloods and stuff into Slytherin so be careful who you befriend, really." she said as she summarized her mother's long listed warnings and advise, that would only be a subject of a Pureblooded Slytherin family.

Lana felt a bit uneasy when she heard that Summer was to avoid half-blood. No one in the school knew that she wasn't a pure-blood yet. But, it couldn't be too bad if Summer is getting cozy with Asher. "Yeah, my parents tell me the same thing," Lana said softly.

Summer sighed, "Yup, it's the warnings of a Pureblooded slytherin family." she agreed, still believing that Lana was a pureblood and knew nothing about the muggle mother of hers. "Mmm Asher's halfblood, isn't he?" she asked herself, thinking aloud. "D*mn! Great, mum will have a spaz about that so they aren't ever meeting" she said rolling her eyes at the thought of the lectures and talks. Of course, she wasn't going to give in and just ignore Asher cause... she just couldn't.

Lana just stared at Summer. Was Summer ready to admit that she actually have feelings for Asher. "Uh, why would your mother meet Asher in the first place," Lana asked. She treaded very carefully. She didn't want Summer blowing up on her, especially if they're making a breakthrough.

"I dunno," she said shrugging as she was busy paying attention to her nails and didn't notice the looks that Lana was shooting at her, "I meant if he talked to me at the train station or something." she elaborated. Why would Asher meet her mum though? That was one of the few reasons for them to meet.

"Uh, right," Lana said, not believing a word she said, but shrugged her off. She looked up at the owlery and called down another owl. She wished she had her own owl to pet. "Well, I'm sure that would be a great meeting...if it happens of course."

((He's gone, hasn't he?))
Summer shrugged and wondered what she had actually meant as it had sounded a bit like a lie to her too. She had to also write a letter back to that rather annoying mother of hers and her yet so mischievously dorky brother, Riley.

((Yeah, he did. Well, I edit my post. That's what happens when I'm too lazy to go and read the posts.))
"Come on," Lana said, trying to think of something to make the mood better. "Let's go gt something to eat. I'm absolutly famish. I could definitely go for some shepard pie."

((Lol I always do that )) Summer shrugged, "Yeah sure," she said as she was pretty hungry too. She made a mental note that she'd have to owl her doofus little brother but until then, she might aswell eat something. "Eurgh, I hate shepards pie!" she said, as she really wasn't too fond of it. ((Might aswell make her hate it ))

((Sure why not, lol))
"I like shepard's pie," Lana muttered under her breath as she followed Summer out of the owlery. Now, really craving for the food. She wished she had some homemade ones and not the ones made by the house elves at the school.
