Summer arched an eyebrow, wondering if she should take it out of the bin in order to stalk him with later, "Someone being... you then?" she asked jokingly after what happened in their first potions lesson, this would seem to be likely. He was someone that she hadn't expected to be in Ravenclaw, so she truly didn't know him as she doubted the hat would ever make a mistake.

"Oh, thanks for the motivation," said Asher sarcastically. "I just had a bit of bad luck in Potions, that's all. Besides, I don't really like that class. This one seems much more fun," he explained to his response. He saw Summer's eyes move towards the garbage bin and he mouthed 'don't you dare.'

Jessica shrugged and grabbed her bag, moving up a couple of seats. She sat behind Asher and dropped her bag.
Artemis slung her bag over her shoulder and walked up to the front. She walked over to Asher and pointed to the seat, "Mind if I sit here?" She asked.

"Not at all," replied Asher, giving the seat a little nudge with his foot. "Hi Jessica," he added to her as she sat behind him. "I heard you got a new Gryffindor," he said conversationally to her. "I bet you're happy," he added in a slightly lower voice so that Summer and Lana wouldn't hear.

Jessica grinned, "Yea just a bit. Now I'm not all alone in the common room. Bet you are glad for another guy." She grinned.
Artemis nodded to him and took the seat next to him. She listened to the girl behind her speak and turned about and extended her hand, "Artemis."
Jessica nodded to her, "I'm Jessica. Ravenclaw right?"

"Yeah, Artemis is my fellow Ravenclaw," explained Asher.
Bet you are glad for another guy.
"Definitely," agreed Asher. "If I hung out with you girls anymore at this rate, I'd end up becoming one. Now I can have some man time." Asher meant the last part as a joke, knowing that he was still a scrawny boy.

Summer smirked. As Asher turned around to talk to his little buddy, Jessica, she quickly levitated the piece of parchment from the bin and stuffed it into her bag, trying not to show Lana. Not yet anyway. She sat twirling her hair in boredom, now as she waited for the class to begin, with a smirk still on her face.

Lana noticed Summer putting something in her bag. "What was that," Lana asked suspiciously. She looked back and forth from Summer and Asher. Something was amiss, but she couldn't put her finger on it. She sat back in her chair and waited for class to start.

Asher heard Lana's question and noticed the suspicious tone to her voice when she said it. He turned back around to see what happened, but only found Summer wearing a smirk. His forehead creased in curiousity but he didn't say anything and just gave a simple shrug.

Ginny slipped into the class, ignoring the idle chatter that was going around. She smiled warmly at the professor and noticed that the whole class seemed to be sitting up the front. A bemused look graced her face before she came to the conclusion that the teacher had asked them to. Shrugging her book bag from her shoulders, she silently took a seat in the second row - the first had been occupied by the rest of the student body - and stared curiously at the steaming box on the Professor's desk.

Lily finished flicking through her notes just in time to see the last student enter. She smiled and marked them all off on the register, glad they didn't have to wait for any stragglers for once. "Excellent," she said to herself quietly, standing up and walking to the front of the room to start the lesson. "Quiet down, everyone." she said, gesturing for them to turn off the volume.
"Now, if you you've lost your glasses or don't know how to read yet, my name is Professor Black. Now I know you're all thinking that these lessons are going to be about boring, old, ministry approved creatures, right?" She brought her fist down loudly against one of the desk, making several students jump. "Wrong. As you may have noticed by the topic on the blackboard, I've never been particularly interested in those types of creatures. So for this unit we will be doing creatures that the ministry has deemed deadly, or dangerous in some way."
After pacing the front of the classroom while she said this, she went back to her desk and picked up the box. "Now, as you may have guessed, I'm not allowed to bring in an actual dragon. It would be far too dangerous and uncontrollable for any student to handle. So this year, we will be using live, miniature models of the real creature. Their powers have been considerably weakened, the worst these harmless little critters can do is blow steam at you. Now, for this assignment, you will be working in groups of two. Since we have an odd number at the moment, Miss Weasley can work on her own, seeing as she is the oldest student here."
She popped the lid off the box and picked up a miniature dragon. For the first group of two, she gave them a chinese fireball. The next, a welsh green, the next, a swedish short-snout, and Ginny, a Romanian longhorn. "Now, observe these dragons carefully. In a few minutes, after you and your partner have discussed the answer, I want you to take a guess as to the breed. Use your textbooks to find the answer if you want to, but it isn't essential that you get the correct answer." She walked back to her desk and sat there, observing her students.
OOC: You guys can pick the groups, 'coz I'm lazy. I don't mind who goes with who but no more than 2 to a group.

Lana was excited to learn a thing or two about dragons, and meet another teacher that doesn't have any regard to Ministry laws. This might just be a good thing for the school. She turned to Summer. "Partners," she asked her. She didn't want to be partners with anyone else.

Summer eyed the dragons that the teacher had handed out in awe. She was pretty glad that they weren't learning "ministry approved" stuff as that would definately be too boring. Summer nodded to Lana's request, she was about to turn and ask Lana for partnership in it anyway.
[[Err what dragon?]]

((yeah, you're too busy off chasing what's-his-face to be my friend We need something though. To solidfy their friendship.)) Lana smiled when Summer agreed. She gave Asher a dirty look, knowing that Summer would have partnered up with him if she didn't aske first. Something had to be going on between Asher and Summer. But, the question is, does Summer know about it.

[[Lol, question is, what?]]
Summer glanced at Asher when Lana shot him a look, her face pulled an expression of puzzlement as she wondered what on earth was happening between them. Shrugging, she glanced back at the dragon that the teacher had given them. She wondered what breed it was but was pretty clueless.
