The entire Bergstrom family sat on the hill overlooking the Graveyard and stared absentmindedly at the coffin holding thier loved one. Adolfus was at the head of the line, Milificent was beside him followed by Bella and Kristoff.
((All are welcome to come into this thread, it is supposed to be a funeral after all.))

Asher stood in the crowd watching the grave with a bit of grief. He didn't know the person well, but he did know their son, Kris, and that's why it was hard. He glanced at Kris to see how he was reacting, but his face was unreadable as he stared at the grave. Asher shivered slightly as it was a very cold dreary day; of course, that's how funerals usually happened since sunny days certainly didn't fit the funeral description.
((And Asher is here... doing nothing. Woot!))

Kris sat in the line, tears running down his face. He wanted to run and hide away from the grave site and be anywhere at the moment but here.He was doing his best not to just jump up and run away from the whole scene and what he wouldn't give to have anything but this.

Harry walked up to the gravesite and noticed Millie and the rest of the Bergstrom family. With a solom look he walked up and placed a hand on Adolfus's shoulder. "I am very sorry for your loss." He said before squeezing the shoulder softly and moving to the back of the crowd that was now forming.

Syne walked through the crowd and up to Kris, really not caring what people thought. She saw the tears running down his cheeks and quietly hugged him. "I'm so sorry, luv. It's not fair. I wish I could have met her. You'll have to tell me everything about her when your ready." Syne just continued to hold him.
So help me, Mel If Uncle Lucius is responcible for this I'm going to kill him.
Don't you think you are taking this a bit personal? Mel thought back. She was almost more worried about Syne's state of mind then she was for Kris's. She stood rather unsteadily right behind Syne and wondered when Miss Granger would show up and start glaring at her. The nurse hadn't wanted to let her come, but then Mel couldn't blame her. It had only been a week since the accident after all. Still Mel didn't care, sometimes friends needed to come before everything else. Isn't that Harry Potter? Mel thought to her sister. Wonder what he's doing here?

Lizzie sighed as she watched the coffin being moved. She glanced at the family, all looking as though they'd break down at any moment. Cursing, she knew that they had to do justice to Arabella. She walked over to Millie, since she was worried for her friend and her friend's family. "I'm sorry for your loss," she said solemnly as she glanced at the family.
Deity sat at the back, she didn't actually know the family but tagged along to fake it further with her sister. She wasn't sad that a muggle was killed, why would she be? Besides, the murderer was a fellow death eater, so she wasn't exactly going to turn on them when she was proud of them. She watched her sister in dismay but said nothing. Keeping her mind blocked, she allowed herself to think those thoughts. The thoughts of a bitter, cold and loyal death eater.

Summer stood leaning against a tree in the far distance. She didn't know the woman, nor the family. In fact, if anything, she hated the son and despised the mother. So really, she had no idea what she was doing here. All she knew was that she actually had remorse in her. If Kristoff had a mother, who actually loved him as much as he did her, then it would be terrible for him. Summer whacked her hand against the tree in frustration, the news of death eaters were really bugging her. Now more then ever. She wondered what it would have been like to have a mother, who actually cared about you and even though his was dead, she still thought that he was remotely lucky for the time that he spent with her.
((Since this happened during the potions thread, I'm gonna say she's alive. Woopee!))

Ron walked through the crowd to where his boss sat. Placing a hand on his sholder he said "We will catch them. You won't be looking alone." Turning to the other family members, he shook the he held out his hand to shake the hand of the eldest girl, Millicent, he thought her name was but wasn't sure. "I'm so sorry for your loss."

"Thank you." Millie looked up and almost went bright red as soon as she saw the man before her. She had always been in to men with red hair and well,
Oh Merlin what the hell am I thinking! this is my mothers funeral and I am having thoughts about the first guy that comes up with red hair! She berated herself.
"Mr, I'm sorry but I don't know your name."

Ron had to keep himself from snorting That's nothing new, I bet she new Harrys' though. "I'm Ron Weasley, I work with your father. I was the first Auror on the scene." Ron blushed and stuck his toe in the dirt. "Well, officially anyway."

"Oh, You're Ron?" She asked with a blush. "I just never knew the face to the name. "My name is Millie." She said looking into his face.
Merlin he's hot! she thought as she blushed even redder, her hand never leavin his all this time. She could not believe she was falling for a guy at her mothers funeral! She felt like such a terrible person at this moment.

"It's nice to meet you, Millie." She's kind of cute. he thought to himself. He wanted to ask her out for a drink but kicked himself, this was her mother's funeral, she wasn't looking for a date. "Well, I had best go and see what Harry needs from me." He told her walking over to Harry, "How are things going?" He asked quietly.

"Oh." Millie bit her lip and watched him walk away.
I suppose it was for the better that he didn't stay She sighed to herself as she watched his back. She had really been hoping that she would get more of a chance to talk to him. But this is not the place or the time to pick up a man.

"Well, just keeping an eye out." Harry sighed, "Don't think we will have much trouble but with the squib daughter here and defenseless so its better to be safe then sorry." Harry looked about and spotted Millie watching Ron and grinned. "OI, mate I think you have a fan over there." He nodded to Millie.

Millie blushed as she noticed Harry looking at her. She knew at that moment that she had been caught looking at Ron. She was mortified as she looked forward and tried to keep her eyes off of Ron so that she didn't bring unwanted attention to herself.
