((Lol fine )) Summer nodded slowly, "I'll owl you." she added, comfirming that she had acknowledged it. "Don't." she said as she motioned with her hand for him to stop before he had started. She could tell by the look that had crossed his face that he was going to try and stop her again. Nodding weakly, he got up. The meeting was over, he knew it. And he also knew that there was no way that he'd win this one, "I promise I'll save him." he said as he got up.Nodding, "I know you will." she said as she mustered up a small smile on her face. She had confidence in him, much more then that she had in herself, "Now go, please. Someone might see you." she warned as she motioned for him to leave.

Asher waited for Summer to be on her own. He didn't know what he wanted to do, but he wasn't going to let her drink that potion like she was planning. He didn't trust her anymore, and so he was quite unsure what was in his heart. Whatever it was, he would always care for her and he couldn't let her do this.

Mercutio gave Asher a final glance, then shifted back to Summer, "Fine, if I can't talk any sense into you then maybe he can." he said as he motioned behind her and behind the tree that was behind her. He turned to go with a sigh.
Summer followed his gaze in confusion, she had no idea what he was on about this time, "What are you on-" she stopped as her eyes widened uponing seeing Asher. She hastily placed the vile into her bag, hoping that he didn't know what it was. Something which she would find hilarious if he did, since he was usually terrible at potions. She was stunned that he was behind her and didn't know how much he had heard.
Mercutio shot a pleading gaze to Asher as he turned to go. He was defeated. And leaving to save Riley was the only thing that he could do right now.

Asher looked at Summer longingly as she turned to him. It was the first time their eyes had met since the infamous experience at the lake. He didn't avert his eyes now. "What's in that vial?" he asked slowly, his voice weak with fear. He hated the sick feeling that Summer could give him so easily and wanted the feelings of happiness back.

Summer shook weakly but didn't break eye contact with him. After a while, she shook her head slowly, "Please, Asher. I'm leaving you out of this." she said as his last words to her echoed in her mind, 'Don't do this to me'. She hated the feeling that she was hurting him but not knowing was better then knowing, right?

Asher slowly walked towards her. "I've been involved since day one," he said simply. "Tell me." He knew that the potion wasn't good which narrowed it down to a few things. If he caught a glimpse of it, he might be able to guess since he was in fifth year now and had gone through five years of potions. "You can't just keep me out. I don't want that."

Summer stifled a sob, she wanted to backaway or just walk off but she was rooted to the spot. She had a urge to tell him but she couldn't, shaking her head again, "You wanted it less then 20 minutes ago." she said slowly as she had nothing better to say. She couldn't say anything else. She didn't know how to tell him, she refused to tell him, he'd only stop her.

Asher shook his head. "What do you expect me to want? The whole time I've wanted you and nothing but you," he spoke softly, stepping closer. This had to be one of the worst days of his life. He still had a bloody headache from that stupid rock, and now he had to watch someone he loved like this.

Summer felt an impluse that she couldn't explain rush through her as he spoke. She slowly backed away as he came closer, not wanting to stop. Tears started to surface again, "Ash- don't." she said weakly as she shook her head. She had to go through with this, otherwise her brother would die. But if Asher continued then she wouldn't be able to, and then he'd die and it would be all her fault for being weak.

Asher stepped foward and took her hand, stopping her from moving anywhere. "I won't let you drink that. If it's a poison or something that will kill you then you've gotta be kidding yourself if you think I'm gonna let you. How will that make it better? You'll just hurt everyone else and me more," he said softly. He didn't understand how she thought all of this could make it better.

Summer stopped as she felt his hand gripping hers, she tried to worm her hand out, falling weak. She was still shaking slightly, "I-" she began but didn't really know what to say to him. "There's an antidote.." she said as she had nothing to say in defence. She didn't want to hurt him and him telling her that she was going to, wasn't exactly the best thing for her. Besides, she wasn't lying. There was an antidote, true that it didn't work 100% of the time but it still existed and would eventually work.

"I don't care if there's an antidote; I'm not gonna risk losing you like before," said Asher in what was supposed to be a firm voice but was more weak than anything. "Why would you do that to people who love you?" he questioned as he still couldn't apprehend why she would ever take this path.

Tears gently flowed down her cheeks as she bite her lip, lost for words. She managed to worm her hand out from his grip and walked back but then gasped as she hit a tree. She knew that she couldn't back away any further anymore. She didn't bother to stifle the sob, she couldn't listen to this. "Please, Asher..." she begged. Why couldn't she be firm like she was with her brother? Why did she fall weak when he was with her? Why was she lost for words? "I-I-" she stammered with no reason, "To save those I love..." she added slowly. Her voice was barely a whisper, as she tried to backaway into the tree. Just hoping that it would open up and shallow her whole.

Asher stopped walking towards her. Normally he would have laughed at her falling back into a tree, but nothing was normal about this situation. He paused, not knowing what to say. He had come to the realization that he did love her, but she only seemed to care about part of her family and not him. "How are you going to save us by... doing that?" He couldn't bring himself to say killing. He stopped talking and then said quietly, "I love you, and I know that's not what I want."

Summer broke eye contact with him as she stared down the ground, how was she supposed to explain this to him? She had to do this to save Riley, and she knew that the only way to say Asher was to not talk to him again. But that seemed to bring sadness to both of them, so she was confused as to what to do. "What do you want me to do then?" she asked as she glanced back up in desperation. She sunk to the floor, whacking her hand hard on the ground like she normally did when she was angry or sad. She bite her lip to prevent her saying that she loved him too, if only to protect him.
