Silence fell upon them again as she shallowed in search for an answer. He was making her unsure, now. "She'll still torture Riley, I-I guess.. I guess I have to risk it." she mumbled quietly. She was now just, 'guessing', since he had made her unsure. Grinning, through her tears, she asked, "Do you have a better idea?" as she turned to glance up at him. She couldn't bear the fact that it was those two choices. They both looked the same to her.
"I know that this is probably a stupid question... since I have a good really the answer is no..." she began but then trailed off since she already knew the answer was no. He didn't trust her.

Asher sighed, hoping to God that some idea would come wizzing into his head. Unfortunately, despite his desperation, nothing came. "I don't," he said softly, looking down in his own disapointment at himself. "But... but you mean the world to me, so if you're gone than I'm as good as dead. And that would mean the potion did more harm than good," he said desperately as he glanced up... well down since he was taller than her.
Asher listened to her start her statement and then stop. "What's the question?"

Summer smiled helplessly slightly, at the useless situation that they were struck in. "And if you do the first option, then I'm as good as dead." she replied slowly. It was less then a week since they broke up and she was already finding it way too hard. "Please don't look so sad..." she said as he frowned in disappointment, since he didn't have a better idea, "This is the only idea. You don't think I'm stupid enough to risk my life without thinking it through, do you?" she asked curiously.
"Don't worry." she said as it was too useless to ask him. Glancing at the time, she knew that she should drink it soon.

"How can I not look sad if the person I love the most in this world is about to go kill herself," answered Asher, not looking up at Summer this time. He found it hard to believe that a few simple weeks ago he was nervous about simply telling Summer the truth of his feelings, whereas now he had fallen in love with her only to find out it was going to break apart just as quickly as it had started.
You don't think I'm stupid enough to risk my life without thinking it through, do you?
"I don't know what I think anymore," mumbled Asher. "All I know is that this isn't the way."

Summer looked down in silence. How was she supposed to reply this without making it worse? She sighed as she didn't convince him, "I'm not going to die..." she said slowly, he was pretty adamant to that point. Especially when he didn't even know what the potion was. Summer turned to face him, "I have no other way," she said slowly. Pausing, she took a deep breath, "Asher, do you trust me?" She asked him as she gazed into his eyes, almost laughing at the question.

Asher raised his eyebrows at the question, surprised that she would even ask that. "Do you really want me to answer that?" he questioned, shaking his head at even the thought of it. He had never completely trusted Summer; even when he had, he would never trust her with anything to serious since her next move was often too unpredicable for what Asher could rely on. He sighed as he had by now guessed her little vial contained the draught of living death.

"Yes." she merely replied. She expected him to answer it, even though she knew the answer was a no. She slowly shuffled her feet as she waited for a response, she needed an answer from him, no matter what it was. She felt into her bag, touched the vile and then withdrew her empty hand. She was just checking that it was still there, since she was becoming really unsure.

Asher sighed. "My answer is that I would like to trust you," he said, glancing away. It was true; he knew he wanted to trust her, but it had long disappeared. "But right now... well... no," he finished. He suspected that she already knew that was his answer, but he still hated giving it to her anyway. It wasn't exactly the most pleasant thing to tell someone.

Summer merely nodded, she wiped her tears with the back of her hand as she finished her sniffs. "I guess you don't want to be the one to take me to the wing." she said slowly, "So go." She was going to drink the potion now, whether he wanted it or not. The question was whether he was going to stay and take her back or leave her to drink it. Either way, she was drinking it.

Asher froze, realizing that it was all indeed happening right now. "I-" he started, not sure what to do. He couldn't bring himself to watch her drink the potion, yet he couldn't just walk away either. "What's going to happen if the antidote works?" he asked quietly, not willing himself to look at her.
((Do you want Asher to stay or go...? It's gonna be really awkward for me to post his reaction to her nearly dying, lol))

Summer arched an eyebrow as she turned to him, clearly trying to delay her in the progress. She felt like she owed him an answer in the least so she replied, "I'll live?" then she sighed and added, "Riley will be safe, if all goes to plan. I'll be alive. And... Well I don't know about us, that's kind of up to you at that point." she said slowly. ((Haha, I don't care Lol... Mmm well if he does go then I'll have to say she went to the stairs since no one would find her here, lol))

Asher took in the words, but felt it all was too much of a risk even if the outcome could be good. He realized he had lost something more than just a game. "Just do it," he mumbled, turning away but not leaving her. He felt sick at saying those words and hated himself for saying them but what else could he do?
((Asher will stay then, to make it easier... so what happens after she drinks the potion. Basically, what do I need to do, lol?))

Summer nodded as she watched him turn, she watched his back with longing eyes but took out the potion. "I'm sorry," she muttered to his back. Slowly uncorking it, she continued to stare at his back and then knocked it down. Before she drank it, she added, "I love you." for the first time. The disgusting taste ran through, as soon as the bottle finished, she dropped it. Her eyes fluttered closed as she fell sideways, falling into a deep slumber. ((Lol....... Take her to the wing? *loves watching Ryan roleplaying awkwardness since she's mean like that* Oh and then run... lol... EDIT: Just thought I'd take the corny bit- "I love you" before she dies, lol. Well not dies. But yeah, you get me.))

Asher closed his eyes at the three words he would have been so pleased to hear had it not been at a time like this since he felt as if the whole world was falling around him. Everything went quiet until he heard the soft thump of Summer's body falling onto the ground. He turned around and opened his eyes, hating the sight that was before him. Why did I let her do this, he thought desperately to himself as he hurried over to the ground where she was lying in a deep sleep. He was right; it had been the Draught of Living Death. He had made the antidote in class once, but it hadn't turned out right therefore not being the cure. He lifted Summer from the ground as if cradling her and dared to look at the peaceful expression on her face.
It hurt him to see the simplicity of it since he knew the fears and the troubles that this expression was hiding. He pulled his eyes away and headed off to the castle at a brisk place to set her in the hospital wing where her fate would be determined. He couldn't bring himself to dwell on his thoughts since they were beyond misery that he knew.
((There. I didn't make it too emotional since I'm out, lol. But yeah. So do I make a thread in the hospital wing now?))

((Lol, haha. That's cause you can't do Emotionally Unstable like Mia can lol. Mmmm that would be a good idea.... You can take your time, since I'm gonna go eat Dinner and Mia isn't online to do her School Nurse duties, lol )) For the first time in a while, peace fell upon her face. She looked sane, normal, peaceful and possibly happy. You wouldn't have thought that she was forced to risk her life, after hours of mental agony. And her RPer was just a bit peeved that she'd have nothing to do now. Well she had her parents to roleplay for a bit, but that was all. It really was boring now, but still.
