Okay... I'm here to talk and ramble like I've been trained to do. And the first topic - Ralph Fiennes who plays Lord VoldiePoo... erm. Well Voldemort for those who are too dim-witted to realize that's who I'm talking about.
Anyway (I'm trying to stay on topic for at least one post), what did you think of Ralph Fiennes as the big bad ass? When I first watched him at the theatre, I must admit that I wasn't too impressed. His voice was too quiet and he needed a hood to cover that extremely shiny baldness he's got going on. His nose was deformed (but that's probably how it should be) and he didn't have the red eyes.
So I complained for a good bit.
But then I shut my mouth (partly because my friend Taylor threw a pencil at me whenever I talked about it) and started to actually think about it. And the more I thought about it; the more I liked Ralph Fienne's performance. The quiet voice was actually probably the best way it needed to be done; it would have looked pretty dumb to have him shouting up the whole time.
And so now my decision has changed and I like his performance.
What do you think?
BTW- If I spelled his last name wrong (which I bet I did), then the lovely admin (whom I know will end up reading this) should fix the title so it doesn't look stupid. (Hint hint).
So there's my ramble. Ramble back.

Lol, Nah, I think it's fine. I think it's that way =P And sucking up to me are we? With the "lovely" bit =P. Haha. Thank you for that lovely rambling post =P Anyway, my views: I haven't really thought about that much. But I remember having a discussion like after I saw it with my friends and we were too busy complaining about some of the other actors (Which I won't go into otherwise I'll ramble forever about them) to think about Ralph. But I think that he was pretty good, I agree that he didn't have the eye thing going on and it was a little bit weird but his nose was probably right and I liked the quiet voice thing that he had going on. I mean, I don't want him to start screaming. Oh yeah, the bit that was really weird was when Voldemort touched Harry and they both kept screaming! I was basically like, . And then my friend started laughing next to me so it totally ruined the "scariness" of that scene but whatever. Oh yeah, back to Ralph. So yeah, overall I thought it was pretty good. I mean, that's how I'd imagine the Voldemort, with red snake eyes though and probably a bit more evil in his ways. Anyway, I have to get on with the rest of the stuff, like sorting you so you're not a first year any more =P So that's basically my view. Like I said, I spent more time thinking about other bits of it, like that scene overall and about the Death Eaters (which was slightly disappointing) on that scene. And Dumbledore. etc. Anyway, carry on rambling!

Wow, these are very long posts. We must be in thoughtful moods today... I can never think of a reply to a very long post... Because there's too many comments for you to remember them all. The OC is on today (which is my secret show that I watch but pretend I don't), woot woot. Lol, that was pretty dorky. Darn, I'm already off topic. I knew that brief on topicness wouldn't last. You mentioned your friend laughing right at the serious part; that's something I like to do. Go to a really serious movie and just make fun of the whole movie. It'll annoy the hell outta old folks and it's really fun.

Lol, I'm ALWAYs off topic so it's no big deal to me. Plus this is like the OOC area, so I'm not bothered, lol =P. Mmm well I should get to work soon, as you might snap at me again if I don't =P lol. So this will be a short reply.
Yeah I agree, I usually ramble the stuff that I remember and then post again if I remember more stuff to back up my points =P. Haha, I sometimes watch OC. I used to watch it nearly every week but now I sort of watch it when I remember and I'm not that busy (Don't like Marcisa anymore! She's really annoying now!). Lol, dorky is cool =P. Well... sort of. Turns out (a survey, somewhere, was done on this) that dorky people are more liked by girls when settling down or going long term.
Lol, my brother and his mates sit their eating crisps during the serious scenes and making the wrapper sound while everyone's silent. It's pretty funny =P. The adults get so annoyed at them =P Though, they are technically adults now =P.

I don't think there's a thread that I've not been off topic too... I've completely littered all the OOC sections on Changing Hogwarts, lol. Because I just talk and talk and talk and talk... And you guys make fun of me for it too. But then I go and make fun of Amelia so it's all good. It turns out that dorky people are better liked in long term relationships? I guess that's me then... Creepy though. Don't ask why; I say pretty much everything's creepy. Your brother and his friends sounds like me and my friends. My friend Kaylee got pissed at seeing this guy she hated at the movie who was sitting right in front of us so she got out her cell phone and kept playing ring tones for the whole movie (it was only like us, the guy, and two random kids in the theatre). It was hilarious.

Lol yeah, it's all good. Let's make fun of Mia! Oh wait, she won't read this yet so there would be no point in it right now anyway, lol.
Lol yeah I know, I said that... Oh wait, I see the "?" after, lol. See, I'm slow? I'm soo tired!! 2am!! I said I was going to sleep at 12am!!! WHERE DID THE 2 hours go??
LMAO, that's a good idea. I'm less disturbing to the others though. If it's someone that I know and they have already seen me and are sitting pretty close then I'd flick them with popcorn or something. Waste of popcorn though, so it's best to just keep talking or ruin the story for them by predicting what happens and stuff. It's pretty funny. But then again, if it was someone that annoyed me then they'd probably come up to me and start talking and I'll be like, "SHUT UP!" and annoy them then. I'm "Mean" apparently, lol. Oh well. All is fair in Love and War... Sorry that may seem random to you but not to me cause I'm thinking about this particular guy when I'm saying this. Anyway, sleep so gonna shut up now!
Oh wait, I'm the Headmistress...."Ryan! Talk about You-Know-Poo! I mean, You-Know-WHO!" lol, that's not me =P ((seeing as I go off topic and ramble just as much as you, maybe a little less though))
Oh and anyone can still post their views on this. Just ignore me and Riley, lol. EVAN! Must say Evan! Me and Evan, I mean.

Yeah, that's right people. I'm close to the official rambler on this forum and another, so the day I don't go off topic is the day that Marissa on the OC stops acting like a *Potty word*
Sorry that may seem random to you but not to me cause I'm thinking about this particular guy when I'm saying this... Sounds like someone has a crush, lol. Crushes annoy me; they never work out. Except in Hilary Duff movies in which I'm not a fan of.
Feels weird to be called Evan seeing as I've never used that RP name though. Most people know me by Riley, Kyler, or Ryan on sites. And Riley is sorta close to Ryan so I guess it's just inevitable to not go by that name, lol.

so the day I don't go off topic is the day that Marissa on the OC stops acting like a *Potty word* [//i]..... Lmao!! Soo never then? For anyone who doesn't watch OC, it's just not possible for that. Oh well, I'll join you in the rambling stage!
Sounds like someone has a crush, lol. Crushes annoy me; they never work out. Except in Hilary Duff movies in which I'm not a fan of.... LMAO, no, don't even go there =P It's compliacated and I'm sure you don't want to get mixed with it, lol. Eurgh, never a fan of Hilery Duff movies!! Lol Mia would be spamming that if she read it =P
Lol yeah, that's why I use either Riley or Ryan cause Ryan is your name and Riley is close to it. Lol, I'm usually called Leila cause I use Leila Maleficus on various sites =P

...going back on topic... I think Ralph Fiennes is a great actor. If there's anyone who knows how to portray a crazy psychopath, it's him. I'm sure in the fifth movie, we'll see him looking more "evil." I don't know how...maybe he'll wear a cloak and his voice won't be so soft. Remember, Voldermort just came back. but, after a year of rebuilding and gaining his power back, he'll be alot stronger. I cant' wait for the Ministry scene at the end of the movie between Dumbledore and Voldermort. That's going to kick ass!!

... Applauds Lana for actually being on topic...
Your character is gonna be reminding me so much of Lana Lang off of Superman and Smallville, lol.
I really can't imagine anyone else playing him either. He's just suited for the part. Oh, I'm so looking forward to that scene in Order of the Phoenix. It's gonna be really interesting to see what it looks like since a lot of people probably have different opinions on it; it's just so different than any other setting in the book. And the Dumbledore and Voldemort fight...that's definitely gonna kick ass.

I was going to name myself Lana Lang, but I thought that would be too cheesy. Just think of Lana when she was possessed by that witch and that's what kind of person my character is. I dont' know, I was bored, but I was too lazy to think of a more creative character. lol
I haven't seen any of David Yates work before, so it's going to be exciting to see what he comes up with. He's British, so I'm going to assume he's going to bring the Britishness that Mike Newell brought to the movies. I felt that in the fourth movie...it was a bit more realistic. It lost it's glamour and jazz that the first two movie showed. It shows that this can happen in a real place during our time, and the only thing that's different is they can use magic.

Oh, okay. I hated that witch plot line on Smallville though, lol. And so far Lana doesn't seem to really like Asher which doesn't surprise me since she doesn't really seem to like anyone at the moment.
I haven't seen any David Yates work either. But if he's anything like Mike Newell, then I should definitely like the film. I hated what Chris Columbus did. I mean, he did a good job with introducing the world and all, but there wasn't any good substance to it. It was just... a film. Nothing special.

I didn't really mind him... I never care who the actor is... just watch the movie, leave, and come back a year or two, maybe three, for the sequel... or prequel, if the director is feeling dumb...
What I didn't like was... uh... oh, right. Some stuff they leave out. Like in the third one... they messed around completely with the Firebolt and him getting it... yeah, they can't put the whole book into the movie, but still... and what's JK gonna do for book 7? That could get boring...
"Hey, Harry! We found a horcrux!" "Great, Ron! Stick it in the bag with the others. Now... for LORD VOLDIEPOO- I mean, Voldemort!" "Harry, not so loud!" "Why the bloody hell not?" "Because. We're in a library." "Oh, right. But they aren't going to come at us with wands shouting the killing curse... there's old people at the desks!" Three minutes later, the trio rushes out of the "library," with a team of old, retired Death Eaters chasing them... and trying to get back their pills.

Yeah, the whole witch thing was kind of stupid, but I guess they needed that so Clark can find the elements and whatever. I don't know, Lana was kind of getting on my nerves since last season. And, now her and Lex...Dunno.
Anyway, David Yates did Girl in a Cafe. I saw bits of it, but I don't really think it was enough to judge. Boone, have you seen my version of the screenplay for movie 5? It's half way done, and once I'm done with school (which is in a couple of weeks) I would finish it.

LMAO, Boone... But part of it is a bit true. Harry's gotta find a bunch of horcruxes and in less the last book weighs the size of a baby killer whale, I think JK's gonna have to rush a bit. Some of the scenes they take out are just stupid... And yeah, I hated that Firebolt thing too. That was about the worst ending to a movie ever. Way too cheesy for it's own good. (Second movie's ending was quite cheesy too come to think of it. And the first one... Don't really remember the last one's ending though) Yeah, they were just trying to find some crappy plotline for Clark to find those element things. Lana pissed me off in the last season too. Of course, she pissed me off in most of the seasons (her voice in season 1... *cringe*). And the Lex thing is certainly weird. But this season is a lot better. And she's a much better actor in this season. I read some of your script... it's really good.
