Lizzie smiled and nodded to Jack. She was glad that he was planning on staying, though she heard a hint in his voice that told her he might not be telling the full truth. She was about to ask but he seemed to carry on and seemed like he was going to tell her so she waited.
"Evan-" Lizzie's eyes shot to the door as the familiar voice of Evan ran through the door, she shallowed hard as she had a very good feeling that Jack knew his voice too. She then realised that she had called Evan by his first name, a fact that was probably unknown to Jack as Evan and her haven't conversed much so they probably wouldn't have been on first name terms with each other. She glanced at Jack, got up and ran to the door, only half opening it, so that it was just enough for her to put her head through. "Hey, err, I'm sort of in a meeting." she made up. It was technically true, she just wasn't adding that it was a friendly meeting with his brother.

"You can let whoever it is in," spoke Jack. He hadn't recognized Evan's voice since he had been in the middle of a sentence when Evan's voice came through the door. "It's not like it's a really important meeting..."
"What the-" Evan pushed the door open farther at hearing his brother's voice. He immediately got a glimspe of Jack. "What is he doing here?" he asked in a voice that resembled something close to a snarl. He looked at Lizzie for an explanation; his brother was supposed to be at the Auror Office, not here.
Jack eyed Evan with great dislike.

Lizzie stumbled back slightly as she softened her grip on the door and Evan flung it open at her. She rubbed her nose as she gave Jack a sharp look that clearly said, 'You idiot!' in her annoyed tone yet a tone that Jack knew as one that wouldn't last, as she could never be angry with him for long. She turned back to Evan, who demanded an answer to his question. Still rubbing her nose, she mumbled an excuse, "I-He- We were in a meeting." she stated, slightly irritated with Evan for the disruption, mess she knew that he was about to cause and about the whack in the nose. "We- We were discussing the defenses for Hogwarts." she added quickly in a mutter, "Turns out that Jack is in charge of that." she said as she shooted another look at Jack to tell him not to say anything that would make the already terrible situation any worse.
She stood by the door, rubbing her nose, as she waited to see what Jack and Evan would do to each other. She wondered whether or not, she should close the door that she was now holding fully open.

Evan glanced at Jack with a look that clearly said you shouldn't be here. He turned his head back to Lizzie for her explanation but looked away quickly. He didn't want his brother to be speaking with Lizzie since Jack knew the real Evan and not the fake Evan he'd been showing to Lizzie. He bit his lip, holding back the furious comments he wanted to give to his brother. "Oh..." he started slowly in a lower voice.
Oh? He definitely doesn't want to give away the fact that he's a real jerk, thought Jack. He raised his eyebrows in Evan's direction, enjoying the internal conflict that was most likely going through Evan's head right now.
Stupid git said a voice in Evan's head as he saw Jack look a bit smug. "Well if you were just having a meeting about the defenses then you shouldn't sound as if you're hiding something," said Evan in a pleasant voice that was calmer than it should have been. "Because obviously this is just a professional meeting and nothing more..."
((Lol, Lizzie got hit in the nose...))

Lizzie snarled slightly as she conjured up a mirror. She took the mirror in her left hand and checked her nose with her right, "Maybe I'm hiding the fact that I'm pretty annoyed that you broke my nose." she said in a voice that wasn't her own. Right now, she had no idea how to behave and was already mad at her nose. She wasn't sure which one of the two brothers she was mad at, so she stuck with both for now. She left the door and walked back to her desk, taking a seat. "Now, are you leaving or staying?" she asked as she placed the mirror down onto the table and continued to examine her nose, "And either way, close the door behind you." she added in a mutter. She sighed irritably as she noticed the beginnings of a bruise above just to the right of nose, below her right eye.
She glanced up and a look of puzzlement protraited itself on her face as she glanced from one brother to another, "Wha- Is there something I should know?" she asked still pretty annoyed, yet more curious now. Jack had a certain smug look behind him and Evan was nearing a snarl.

"No... there's nothing," stated Evan in a cold voice that was directed towards Jack more than to Elizabeth. "And yes, I'm leaving right now." He started to walk out of the office, stopped by the door, and felt a sudden burst of fustration. Evan didn't want Jack to be the one talking to Lizzie; he wanted himself doing so. And it didn't have anything to do with the mission. Evan quickly shook this traitorous thought out of his head and completely walked out with the door shutting behind him.
"Er, sorry about that," mumbled Jack. "Just a rivalry, that's all..."

She watched Evan walk out, slightly disappointed that he may hate her now but glad that nothing happened between them. She cringled up her nose, testing if it still moves normally or not. Lizzie arched a suspicious eyebrow at Jack, not really believing his words. "And what were you gonna say before he entered?" she asked slowly moving back to the topic beforehand, her voice full of curiosity as she spoke. [[LOL YAY! Evan stopped "he wanted himself doing so" Must quote it, cause it's good for Lizzie! Haha, he can hear that if you want From outside the door If you want some more action between your characters]]

And what were you gonna say before he entered?
Jack gave a slight sigh since he had known sooner or later he was going to have to answer this question. "I just... I'm here to warn you. I don't want you getting hurt," he started, "because that's what Evan will do to you if you allow him to get too close to you. He's not to be trusted." Jack's face showed a slightly pained look since he wasn't sure how Lizzie would react to this.
Evan stopped at hearing his name and put his ear to the door quietly. His face darkened at hearing Jack's statement. That bloody twit, he thought angrily. He was furious that Jack had to go and warn Lizzie. Jack's gonna pay.
((Well drama's always good...))

[[Lol, she's not likely to believe Jack. But I feel a bit mean saying, "I think you better leave" so I won't!]]
Lizzie took her elbows of her desk and moved back slightly from the shock of the warning that she had just received. She paused for a moment, thinking about Jack's words. She knew that it was about Evan but she didn't think Jack would hate him enough to make up lies about him. Jack's never lied to you, though. she told herself firmly, her friendship was pretty strong and he had never lied to her, so why start now? she asked herself. She had no idea if he was lying to her or not and needed more proof to do anything. She gestured a few hand movements in the air, as the words wouldn't come out of her mouth. Opening her mouth to speak, she moved her hands in a sweeping movement and yet the words didn't come out. She looked like a total bafoon but was in too much shock to care, she had even forgotten about her broken nose and bruised cheek. "I-Why-You-Eva" she started as her voice returned to her, she still couldn't finish her sentences. She wasn't going to believe it, how could she? She would trust Evan cause he was a good person, yet she wondered why Jack would lie about him. "What-" she took a deep breathe, "What exactly do you mean by that?" she finally asked as her confidence returned to her and the initial shock wore off. She needed to know more before she condemned him, and if Jack refused to answer then she'd know Jack was lying.
[[Lol, this will get interesting.]]

Jack frowned, wondering why Lizzie had to question his remark on Evan. She knew him much more than Evan. As far as he knew, she and Evan had barely spoken at Hogwarts. "It's hard to put into words," he said slowly. "And it's not like Evan to suddenly show up at Hogwarts and start teaching. He's up to something and I don't want you to get involved if he has some type of scheme going on," he explained.
Evan's fists clenched as he walked away from the. He didn't want to hear anymore.

Lizzie gaped at him in shock. She just couldn't believe what he was saying about his brother, yes she knew they had sibling rivalry but what set of twins didn't. Most brothers and sisters had it but this was really pushing it. She shook her head slightly, "I- No- I just can't believe it." she staggered out slowly. She played with her fingers a bit, still unsure of what to say and what to believe.

Jack sighed in disapointment at Lizzie's reaction. "I expected that to be your reaction," he said honestly as he scratched his head. "And I doubt you'll believe me, but I have to tell you this so at least you have a warning; whether you listen to it or not is up to you." He really wanted Lizzie to believe him and found it quite fustrating that she wasn't doing so. Why would she ever trust Evan like this? It was he, Jack, that had known her for forever and been her friend back at Hogwarts. Now she was skiving off any advice he had on Evan and Jack couldn't believe it.

Lizzie thought about it for a moment, still not believing it, she merely nodded her head, "Fine." she muttered in thought. "Fine," she repeated, "He has never done anything to support that. But fine, I'll remember it." she said. Believing it would be harder but she'll remember his warning, though she doubted she would need to. Why would Jack be so sore as he make up lies? she asked herself rather bitterly.

Jack heaved a sigh. "I should probably go," he said slowly, not really wanting to leave like this. He wish his words would have had a more prolong effect on Lizzie, but it did not seem that way at all. "There's a lot of things back at work that need tending too and I don't want to get over loaded," he explained. It was the truth even though it wasn't the reason he was leaving. "But I'll be back." He waited a bit longer though to see what Lizzie would say before him leaving.

After a brief pause, she nodded, "Yeah you should leave." she said rather harshly as she turned around and opened the drawer behind her, indicating that the conversation was over. She was rather stunned at the tone of her voice but didn't care at the moment, Why would he lie about his brother? she thought again, much more bitterly then the last time.
