A need to call the children home

Adolfus walked up to the Gargoyle and realized that he didn't know the password to get into the Headmistress's office but he wanted to be able to talk with the Headmistress before he told his children the news. This was not the best thing for him to have to tell them and He was saddened that he would have to, but they needed to know.

((OOC: I don't know if you read attacking the Head Auror or not but I will summize it in this thread...lol))

((Yeah, I've seen it I saw this in the past 25 posts but didn't realise it was for me until I saw the OOC comment, lol))

Lizzie nodded to the nearby portrait, as it had warned her of her visiter. She flicked open the door infront of him, so that the staircase would be removed. Slowly scanning the newest issue of the Replacement, for anything remotely interesting. She pushed it aside in dismay as she glanced up for her visiter.

"Hello Lizzie." Adolfus sighed as he entered. "I don't know exactly how to say this so I'll just say it as best as I can." He sat down with another sigh. "Lizzie my home was attacked yesturday during the Order meeting. I went home to find my house in ashes and my wife dead. I know I need to tell the children and bring them home for the funeral but Merlin Lizzie! How do I tell my children that their mother is dead." He broke down sobbing as the pain for him was still very fresh.

Lizzie brought her hand up to cover her mouth from shock, "Oh Jesus- I'm so sorry," she said helplessly. She didn't know what to say and where to begin, she just couldn't believe how people could do this to others. She still couldn't believe it, not even after having enough runins with them. "Oh, no. Please don't-" she said as he began crying, but stopped as she knew that's just a form of mourning. She got up, walked around the desk and sat down on the edge as she handed him a box of tissues.

"Thank you." He said taking a tissue and blowing his nose. "I really don't know how to tell Millie and Kris." He said helplessly. "And Bella! Merlin she's a squib and that means she has just as likely a chance to get hit next. How can I protect her if I couldn't protect her mother?"

Lizzie placed her hand on his shoulder comfortably yet firmly, "It's ok, I know you'll protect her." she said without hesitation in her voice. She wasn't good at hiding her feelings so everything she said was sincere. She cursed to herself, wondering who would do such a thing but knew that he was right and that his daughter was in danger.

"Lizzie I don't know what I am going to do without Arabella." He sighed as his tears seemed to subside. "My house is in ruins, I have no where to go while I rebuild it, though Ron suggested that I ask Harry to stay in Grimmauld place but then there's the Funeral arrangments too." He sighed. "Listen to me, here I am pouring my heart out to you when I really came here to ask you if I could take Kris and Millie home for the funeral. We'll be staying at the Leaky cauldron until I could find out if I could stay at Grimmauld place but I really need the kids right now."

Lizzie shook her head, "It's fine, it's fine." she said softly and encouragingly. She nodded to his words, "I think that will be the safest place for now, I think you should all stay there, or here. I doubt the Leaky Cauldron will be suitable, I'll ask Harry immediately." she said nodding. She wondered what in Merlins name was going to happen to him if he was wasn't overcome by the vengance.

"Oh thank you Lizzie, truth be told I was afraid to ask Harry seeing as he just got back and all." Adolfus sighed. "The children are all I have left of her now." His face grew dark. "I'm going to find them Lizzie, I'm going to find who killed her and make them pay."

((OOC: yeah he is consumed with veangeance but he won't always show it, he's going through alot of mixed emotions at the moment...lol Poor guy.))

((Lol, shoot now I have to meet Harry.. Aka you, too Err where to? ))

Lizzie nodded, "If there is anything else I can do then just ask," she said slowly with a nod. "I'll talk to Harry as soon as I can, it will be alright." she said encouragingly as she tried to give him comfort and whatever hope she could manage to muster up in him.

((OOC: Well of course he will be in Grimmauld place and i'll set it up and call it a quiet day...or is it? or something like that...lol))

Adolfus nodded his thanks. "Well I guess I'd best go and Tell Millie then she can get Kris and we can tell him. Does she have classes going today?" He asked hoping he had caught her on a day with no classes, he'd hate to upset her during a class.

"Yeah, I think so," she said in thought. "Don't worry about it, you go ahead." she said smiling down at him. She just hoped that they'd be ok and they were safe. She would go see Harry as soon as he left, after rechecking the defences again, like she always did when she left.

Adolfus nodded. "Well then I'd best go and tell her." He said with a frown and got up from the chair. "Thanks again Lizzie.' He said as he turned and left the office, making his way down to the potions class room to deliver the sad news to his daughter.

Lizzie nodded as she watched him leave. "Hey, er. I'll be down in about 10 mins to cover for her." she added quickly as he left. She slouched back down on the table as she wondered what to do next. She was going to cover the lesson, like she had said and then go and meet with Harry.
