Evan felt relieved that she wasn't talking anymore about Jack, but then frowned as she moved onto the next subject. "What I've been doing after Hogwarts?" he repeated. He thought for a moment and thenn started to talk. "I never really planned my future properly while at Hogwarts and that hurt me a good bit when I came out. I didn't have a clue on what I was going to do outside the school, so I just took on a few small jobs but nothing lasting," he explained. That's pretty good. "I suppose that's why I'm out here teaching now; this place has always been most comfortable to me." Nice touch.
((That'll make it really interesting... Evan's not gonna like that turn of events, lol. Right now he doesn't have a crush on her, but I'd expect that to change in the future))

Lizzie wondered what those 'small jobs' were but didn't press on, she merely nodded as she was still distracted by Jack. "Yeah I agree, this place is probably the most comfortable place to work." she said not hinting the fact that she was saddened it had somehow lost it's appeal after the Death Eater attack 2 years ago. She wasn't really sure what to say to him, it was rather an awkward silence but she hoped that he'd come up with stuff.
[[Again, YAY! Lol.]]

Evan could see very easily that he had lost his trust factor in her and that her thoughts were focused on Jack only. Always Jack, always Jack. Everyone cares about Jack.
"What about you?" he asked curiously. "What did you do before coming to Hogwarts?" he questioned. He was honestly curious about this since he found it weird to have such a young headmistress; he wanted to know how she acquired the position.
((Woot. Woot.))

Lizzie glanced up as Evan broke her thoughts on Jack, she frowned slightly as she wasn't paying much attention to Evan's words. After a moment, her brain came back and she realised what he was going on about, "Oh, I helped out in the Ministry" she simply said, not emphasising on her job in the Order as she never really told anyone this. "My mother was pretty powerful there so it was all good. Plus it helps that she was good friends with Professor Mcgonagall, who appointed me as the Headmistress after she refused it, for some reason." Lizzie added. She didn't mind talking about her mother, it was a while ago so she had gotten over the initial shock of it all.
[[Lol, the jealous little twin *pats on head* there there.]]

"I think I might've fallen over in shock if I'd been appointed in charge of the school," chuckled Evan. "I was quite surprised that McGonnagal didn't take the position... It seems very unlike her to do so. And I thought she'd at least stay at the school and teach Transfiguration. She certainly loved it enough. Though she might've loved giving me detention much more," he said as an afterthought. It was true; McGonnagal hated Evan.
((... Hmph....))

Lizzie laughed as she remembered the Transfiguration lessons that she'd share with Slytherins and Evan being one of them. "Yeah, the prospect of working with you probably scared her away." she replied tauntingly. To be honest, even she didn't know why the Professor hadn't stayed but she never thought to ask and this seemed only too rude.

"Oh, well now I'm hurt," said Evan sarcastically as he placed his hand on his heart in mock defeat. "I had Transfiguration with you didn't I? You must have seen me at my worst then. I was never too great with that class," he grinned. He was quite glad that the conversation had finally steered away from Jack.

Lizzie laughed, "Oh yeah, I remember." she said as she did remember, "I remember when you managed to turn the needle into a big fat rat, when it was supposed to be a pillow." she said laughing as she remembered how the Professor had to try and calm down the screaming girls as this rat scurried past them. She was about to add that it was probably the reason he didn't become an Auror, but thought it best not to.
[[Lol is Jack good at Transfiguration? I'll rub it in =P]]

Evan grinned and scratched his head thoughtfully. "Well you can't be perfect at everything. Even you, our Headmistress. But I can't really remember you being bad at anything," he said as he forehead creased in thought. He was being a bit nicer than usual to her, but he honestly couldn't think of what she was bad at back in school.
((He was pretty much good at everything except Divination & Astronomy))

Lizzie laughed, "Not really. I was terrible at Astronomy. I mean I like looking at stars at night but remembering it all? You got to be kidding." she said laughing as she remained how terrible it was. "Oh I hated History Of Magic" she said in a voice of boredom, "Just passed it cause I remembered it all but that was just too boring." she said sighing at it. She wasn't that good at everything but she worked pretty hard at the ones that she didn't like too so she could get quite good results. She wasn't a Ravenclaw so it wasn't expected from her. "Oh, I remember.. Jack was pretty great at Transfiguration." she said as she remembered his soft plump pillow. "But then again, he was good at every Auror-needed subject." she said grinning. [ ]

And there she goes talking about Jack again... I wouldn't be surprised if she stalked him for all the comments she's got for him! "Oh yeah, Jack was a great catch to all his teachers. Perfect in every class and with so many friends. You could say he was a gift from God," said Evan sarcastically as he rolled his eyes. He knew he wasn't about to score points with Lizzie for that, but he was tired of acting all nice towards Jack.
((You're getting Evan really peeved...))

Lizzie rolled her eyes as she got up, "No idea what you've got against him." she said as she walked towards the owl that finally finished drinking and eating. She softly stroked the snowy coloured fur of Sull, she lifted the owl and held it out of the window, for it to takes it's leave.
[[lol, good =P He should come into the Jack thread now!! lol. *waits for Evan*]]

No idea what you've got against him.
"Let's just say it's a bit of sibling rivalry," explained Evan simply. "And I'm sure you've experienced it here and there," he added as an after thought. He felt a bit peeved with himself for getting Lizzie feeling annoyed with him since he had to focus his thoughts on his assignment and not on jealousy.
((I'll enter after you post in there... Gosh, don't be too mean to Evan.))

Lizzie laughed as she watched Sull take flight and heed out of sight, "Yeah I have." she said as she remembered the times that she and Deity had their problems, "Deity can get pretty annoying." she said laughing.
[[Lol, true. I'll ease up on him ;P Seeing as she is supposed to love him rather then Jack. Though if you two (you and yourself) get into an argument in the other thread then she'd probably step up for Evan, happy? lol. 1am, must go!]]

"I'm not too surprised by that," nodded Evan. Deity... another fellow Death Eater. And the more devious of the Aphrodites. "I can't really see you two getting along well," he grinned as he tried to imagine them in a 'friendly' conversation.
OOC: Lol, okay. Bye... it's only 7 pm over here.
