Jessica let her's simmer and added the first two ingredients quickly.
Artemis looked carefully around the room, now bored since she was finished. She smiled at the teacher and continued to look around. Asher looked done and so did the new kid. She shrugged and pulled out her book to read while she waited.

Millie looked about the class and noticed a good ammount of them were done. "For those of you that are done please bottle up the potion and sit it on my desk then you can either sit quietly or start on the homework assignment on the board." She said and waived her wand.
Potions Homework:
1- Why is it important to add the Porcupine quills after the Cure boil potion is removed off the fire?
2- What are the ingredients to the Draught of living death?
3- What is the desired effect of the polyjuice potion?
4- What is the name of the potion that makes Lycanthropy more bearable for a werewolf?
5- What are the ingredients for the Wit sharpening potion?
6- What potion is Asphodel and an Infusion of Wormwood used in?
7- please describe the effects of the Draught of peace.
8- What is a bezoar's uses and what does it look like?
9- What potion will awaken a petrified person?
10- What is the result if someone takes the Confusing and Befuddlement draught?
Kristoff bottled up his potion and sat it on the professors desk then went back to his seat and copied down the homework but decided he would do the assigment later and just looked about quietly at the others.

Sami decided hers was done, eventhough she knew she had gotten lucky that it didn't explode or worse. She took it off the fire. Not bothering to do anything else, she looked up and counted the ceilling tiles. She was at 32 when she lost count. She looked through her bags to find...Nothing. She sunk back in her seat.

After she had allowed her potion to simmer for another 30 minutes, after adding the stewed horned slugs. She removed the cauldron off the fire and added the Porcupine quills into it. Once it finished, it bottled it up and handed it to the teacher, returned to her desk and copied down the homework. Scanning through, she knew the answers to quite a few of those as Potions was one of her favourite subjects, even though it probably didn't look like that during the lesson, but it was. She sat down, after clearing away as she was supposed to stay behind cause mugglelovers love grass-ing.

Jessica added the last ingredient quickly and noticed it was at least a little bit close. She bottled it quickly and handed it to the teacher. She walked back to her desk and copied down the homework.
Artemis quickly bottled her potion and gave it to the teacher before walking back to her desk and copying down the homework

Sami looked at her homework. She answered Numbers Three and Nine. Then scanned the others. She didn't bother to look up the answers. She was just going to pretend to do her homework until class was dismissed, then not do it at all or make some first year do it.

Lana added the last ingredients to the potion before putting it in the flask and handed it in to the teacher. She always loved potions. It was a very simple subject because her grandmother tutored her on the subject when she was younger. It was the one thing she could do because she didn't need a wand to complete it. She quickly wrote down the homework. "That wasn't too bad,' she said to Summer.

Well, it wasn't. A head popped up behind Lana, grinning. Grabbing her quill, the head, along with the arm and body that had appeared, chucked it at her, laughing. Floating through the girl next to her, AKA Summer, he grabbed a small pot of ink that rested on someone's desk and chucked it at the professor. Peeves was back. No question.

Lana screamed out of anger at the ghost. "Peeves!!! Wait until I get my hands on you!!" She picked up her quill, stuffed her homework into her bag and stood up from her desk. She never understood why the Headmistress kept Peeves around. He was nothing but a pain in the butt.

Millie looked up with a frown at Peeves. She banished the ink bottle he had flung at her with a wave of her wand "Peeves!" She thundered. "Get out of my classroom this instant!" She then pointed her wand at the polterguiest threateningly.
Kris looked up at the sound of the polterguiests cackle and watched his sister yell at the ghost. 'Oh this is going to be interesting.' he thought in amusement.

Peeves grinned at Lana, whispering, "You can't do a thing about me, you ickle firstie... you're too small... need a few more inches on you..."
Turning, or hovering around, to the professor, he sighed pathetically. "Alright... you win..." Hovering up to the next floor, he disappeared into the ceiling...
(Shoot... I forgot to mention something in his profile... crap... better go do that...)

Millie put her wand away and turned back to the class. "Alright settle down and those of you that are finished my leave the classroom only after you have copied down the homework assignment. I expect that to be handed in at the next class." She said sternly. "You are dismissed." She then sat back down at her desk, fuming about Peeves disruption of her class. "And Miss Veneficus, Make sure to stay behind until all of the students have gone." She may be angry at the ghost but she would not forget she had a punishment to give out.
Kris got all of his belongings together and made his way to the door and out of the classroom.

Lana stomped her feet in anger. Peeves reminded her of her little brother. She didn't like to be called small or a first year. "We should find a way to get rid of ghosts," Lana said to Summer. "Up for some research?" She didn't care about the other ghosts. They didn't bother her.

Jessica watched slouched down in her seat, trying to avoid Peeves.
Artemis watched with some amusement. She grinned but quickly wiped it from her face when the polterologist had disappeared into the ceiling. There was no doubt, she had to introduce herself to him.

Sami smirked upon seeing Peeves. This was going to be amusing.
