"Aww, a family feud." she said mockingly as she found the right page in the book. "Bet Bergstrom over there wouldn't be too glad to hear you say that..." she said calmly as she scanned the page for it's ingredients and instructions. She was going to read over the pages before she got the ingredients and then once she had checked it all, she would make it.

"Do you honestly believe I care what would make her happy?" Kris scoffed. "I may be a Gryffindor but that does not mean I have to care about every thing. My sister is a self rightous and over bearing person. I could care less if she heard me, whats the worst she could do? Give me detention? Big deal."

Summer smirked, glad to know that she wasn't the only one in hatred of the teacher. She shrugged upon his reply, "Well, if you're lucky then she will have heard that." she merely said as she continued to read the page. She knew that older siblings tended to care and want to protect their youngers, and it would hurt the good majority of them if they heard that.

'Yeah right." He snorted. "And that would be just my luck." He then started on his ingredients and lit his cauldron to begin brewing his potion. He wondered just why he had to deal with a Slytherin through this class but he shrugged it off as he added his first ingredient.

Lana started taking her potion kit out and wondered what poision Syne would create. And, if Lana should even bother creating the antidote to cure her. "Alright, we might as well, just do this project," Lana said. "There won't be any need to talk to one another."

Tom shrugged and went to sit next to the kid he had been paired with. He flipped through his textbook and found the page on the Draught of Living Death.
Jessica walked over to Jasper and sat down. "Any idea what the antidote might be?" She questioned.
Artemis pulled her chair over to Sami and looked through her book smugly for an antidote for the potion.

Syne felt bad as she saw Lana back away from her. However it was quickly stifled by Lana's comment "Look, I'm sorry you got hit with that hex. I honestly thought you a good enough duelist to avoid it and in all honesty the majority of my anger was aimed at myself. You just happened to be a convienient target. I'm sorry for that. I am usually better at controling myself but with Mel hurt I kind of went a little nuts." Syne was careful to keep her voice low. She hated having to appoligize to Lana but she felt the other girl deserved it. "Just how are we supposed to make a cure for the Draught of the Living Death? There isn't one!" She muttered to Lana, "but I think the Professor wanted to see us. Hasn't she done enough torture for one day?"

Asher looked to the board and shrugged as he saw his partner. It was one of the older students meaning that a) she would be good at this, but b) he'd look really stupid next to her. He walked over to her and took a seat. "Er... yeah. Just to warn you, potions is not exactly my strong point," he warned. "But I'll try not to set you on fire or anything." He started to flip through the pages in his book for the antidote.
Damien strolled into the classroom quite late. He glanced at the board and rose his eyebrows. "Who the hell is Morgan?" he asked to no one in particular as he looked around the room for someone who had maybe a Morgan sign or something.
((What is the antidote? What's it called...?))

((Is there even one? Lol, that's the more important question.... I thought there wasn't... Meh. Night anyway))
Summer laughed softly, "Hey Ash, I think that everyone knows that for sure by now." she said tauntingly as she grinned and poked her tongue out in a mock taunt.

"Not everyone," mumbled Asher in disagreement as he looked around the room for someone he didn't. "A lot of people weren't here for the first lesson, so they don't know about the little incident..." Instead of sticking his tongue out at Summer, he threw a small piece of crumpled paper at her head. Since that sounds much more fun to Asher's RPer.
((Darn... why do I get stuck with the d*mn antidote? Amelia is smart... she could figure out something better than I could...))

"I don't know," Lana said, looking it up in the book, but still keeping her distance from Syne. She didn't care if she apologized. Lana was really good at holding long grudges and this one is no exception. She saw Damien walk in and had to find a way to let him know that she had the stuff to give to him. She looked over and actually made eye contact with him for a split second before looking back through her book. She'll just have to get him after class or something.

Millie watched the students trying to find the antidote in their common books and knew they would never find it though it had been amusing to watch them try. She decided it was time to give them what they needed to finish the assingment.
Vigilance Draught, Antedote for Draught of living Death
Sliced Heliotrope root,Heliotrope plant is a common plant used for keeping one awake, chopped Flobberworms, Sliced Mandrake Root
Place the Heliotrope in a cauldron and simmer for twenty minutes. Add the Mandrake Root and simmer for anoter thirty minutes. Add in Flobberworms and Simmer for twenty minutes then allow to cool and bottle immediatly. Store in a cool and dark place.
Marefela Bultrem- Founder of Potion.
"This excert was taken from Moste Potente Potions which I don't believe you have Access to." Millie said after waving her wand and making the Potion appear. "This is the only known cure for the Draught of the living death and it is not a guarantee to work all the time. Now that you have the potion I suggest you get to work and seeing as Heliotrope is not a common plant if you don't have any in your private stores then I can give some from my own but if you do have it then I expect you to use yours and not mine."
((OOC: hehehe I am so wicked! ok guys I have a confession to make there is not an actual antidote but I wanted to see who would catch it first...Yay Summer for being the one besides my room mate to catch it. Anyway there are some hints that there is the possibility of an antidote so I created on using the Heliotrope plant which actually cn help keep a person awake. Hope no one minds on this....lol and the Mandrake is used as a restorative in this to help with any other issues that could arise.))

((Meh, fair enough We have an antidote! Lol Haha, I agree Ryan, Mia is much smarter then you! Lol jokes.)) "Hey!" she whispered as she felt a crumbled piece of parchement hit her. "Got a blondie on it?" she taunted jokingly as she poked her tongue out at Asher again. Summer rolled her eyes at the teacher's words as she flicked close her book and glanced up at the board. Summer shrugged and collected the following ingredients from the potions cupboard. She grabbed the ones that she had from her bag and flung them onto the table as she dropped her books and equipment into her bag on the floor. This gave her space for her cauldron and ingredients. She placed the Heliotrope into the cauldron and allowed the simmering process to begin.

Ginny sighed as she saw the Ravenclaw move over to where she was sitting, hoping that the boy would be better at potions than her.
"Er... yeah. Just to warn you, potions is not exactly my strong point,"
Great, just great she thought to herself. "Well, that's you and me both, then." she replied truthfully. She wasn't exactly a potions wizard- er, witch.
"But I'll try not to set you on fire or anything."
Ginny raised an eyebrow. "Thankyou, that gives me so much comfort." she said sarcastically. She sighed, "Better get to work then." She went over to the supply cupboard to take out all the ingredients required for both potions, seeing as the teacher had now put up the list for the antidote as well.
((Haha, I agree Ryan, Mia is much smarter then you! Lol jokes
So you're saying he is smarter than me? Fiiine, then *stalks out huffily* lol jks.))

Kris hadn't bothered looking up as his sister spoke, I didn't concern him seeing as he was making the actual draught and not the antidote. He added his second ingredient to his already simmering potion and waited for the alloted time to pass.
Connor looked up at the board and got out his ingredients. He then went to the professors stores and grabbed some of the Heliotrope plant and began to prepare his ingredients quietly. He looked over at the girl and noticed that she was not too pleased with having to work with someone either but what could they do? With a shrug he added the Heliotrope to his cauldron and started the process of simmering.
