Evan entered the DADA classroom feeling a little disguntled. He'd been sent a letter telling him he'd have a visitor from the Ministry watching over the lesson. This had angered him since now he'd have to be the 'perfect little professor.' He only hoped that the visitor would be lenient towards the lesson and any mistakes Evan might make. Evan picked up a piece of chalk and started writing on the blackboard. DADA Lesson 2 -Boggarts- Journal Topic: How dangerous does a boggart seem to you? If you don't know what one is, just write you don't know.Evan finished and looked back curiously at his work. He was only doing the boggart lesson because of the Ministry's orders. Otherwise, he'd never even consider it. "Hello brother," called out a voice from the door.Evan turned around to see Jack standing in the doorway. For a moment he stood there quite angry and then the comprehension dawned on him. "You're the visitor watching over my lesson?" he asked with a bit of impatience. Jack smiled. "Yes, and I suppose you're not too excited by that. Nevertheless, I'll go ahead and make myself comfortable," he spoke pleasantly and transfigured a pencil on the floor into a squishy armchair into the corner of the room. He was looking foward to watching Evan struggle after his own struggle with Lizzie trying to warn her.Evan frowned. He couldn't say anything nasty to Jack since now Jack had the power to get him on Ministry watch. Crap.

((HAHAHHAHAAHHA, sorry. That's just funny... how Evan reacts with one word Lol. This sure will be an interesting lesson, though I have to run cause my mum's getting annoyed that I'm not sleeping and am always tired, lol. So I'll just go now, and post my roleplay later, LOL. Jack's such a show off with the tranfiguration bit lol))

Jasper walked in, slowly. His first lesson. Though it should have been his second. He'd missed the first one. He looked at the teacher, looked at the board, and frowned. He couldn't shout the spell, Riddi- whatever it was. He'd have to hope the professor had been informed, and he could just watch. Maybe perform one of his wordless spells later. Whatever. Taking a seat in the back of the room, he wrote...
Dangerous enough, seeing as I can't shout any spells to repel its attacks. I still have to learn more of the magic that doesn't require words.
Getting up again, he walked over to Evan's desk, and set it down. Then, he quickly walked back to his seat.

Lana walked into the classroom and gave a warm smile to the Professor before taking a seat up front and center. She glanced sideways and noticed another adult male in the classroom. She wonder who he was and why he was in the classroom.
Lana read the board then took out a piece of parchment and completed the assignment.
Lana Lee DADA Journal Entry #2
A Boggart is only as dangerous as you will allow it to be. A boggart can not fully cause you harm. It only puts fear into the victim, making them vulnerable to other things. Boggarts are easy to defend against since a simple spell could make the boggart weak. Overcoming one's fear is another way to overcome the boggarts. So, they are not as dangerous as other creatures that can actually cause harm.
Lana got up from her seat and handed in her assignment to Professor Brennan. She wanted to ask about the visitor, but thought it would be best to keep her mouth shut. She didn't want to jepordize her chances of getting private lessons. She took her seat and shot sideway glances at the newcomer every once in a while.

Asher wandered into the classroom and saw it quite empty except for Lana, Professor Brennan, another kid he didn't know, and some adult he didn't know in the corner in what looked like a quite comfortable armchair. Asher took a seat behind Lana, not wanting to take something so close to the front and started on his journal topic.
Asher Seagle DADA Journal Entry #2
-A boggart is probably worse than anything because it's your worst fear. So basically you're gettin' the worse. No matter what. Which sucks.
Asher handed it in to the Professor and then sat back down. "Who's that guy in the corner?" he whispered to Lana.

Lana shrugged her shoulder. "Dunno," she said turning around to talk to Asher. "He was here when I got here. And, I didn't feel like asking the teacher. You don't think he's...he's from the ministry do you? Because remember Professor Brennan said he had to do ministry approved lessons. Maybe they're here to check up on the lessons." Lana stared at the man.

"Well if that's true, I wonder why the Ministry's enforcing it so much," commented Asher looking a bit thoughtful. "I mean, no other teacher is having people watch their lessons or have approved ones," he explained as he glanced back at the visitor. "He kinda looks like the Professor come to think of it. Same features. Not exactly though," he added with a bit of curiousity playing on his face.

Lana looked a bit harder at the man and saw what Asher was talking about. "Yeah, I think I kind of see it," she said. "maybe he's a family member. Maybe he's not a ministry worker at all! Maybe he's just here to watch a lesson. Which is kind of weird." Lana didn't know if Professor Evan had a brother or a cousin or something. But, then again, she didn't know that the Headmistress had a twin sister that teaches at Hogwarts.

Jasper listened to their conversation, happy he was in the back. At least no one would speak to him... he wouldn't have to have any awkward moments... which would be... awkward... and... yeah... he listened, waiting for something interesting to happen.

Evan heard the conversation between Lana and Asher. "You both seem to be correct. Jack here," he pointed to the man in the back, "is my brother and part of the ministry. He's here to ah... watch over our lesson due to Ministry orders," he explained. Evan would've loved to tell Jack to shove his Ministry orders up his ass but that would be rude...
Jack nodded his head a little at the introduction. "Don't worry. I won't be[ i]too[/i] harsh on your professor," he said with a pleasant smile. He knew that Evan would get fustrated at the little things he said like this, and that was certainly dwelling on his mind.[/color]

Jessica walked in and sat down across from Asher. She pulled out her notebook and scribbled down:
Jessica Adams DADA Lesson 2 How dangerous does a boggart seem to you? I'm not sure what it is. I think it has something to do with your worst fear, and that would be dangerous.
Artmis walked in a bit slow and took a seat next to the new kid. She was determined to get to know him.
Artemis Moon DADA Lesson 2 How dangerous does a boggart seem to you? I think a boggart would be rather dangerous. It is a creature that shows you worst fear. And whats more dangerous than you worst fear, right?"

Mel walked into the classroom and knowing her sister would want the empty seat next to Kris sat down on seat away from where he normally sat. Pulling out her notebook she quickly wrote out her journal entry, then waited for the professor to continue.
-Boggarts- Journal Topic: How dangerous does a boggart seem to you? A boggart in and of itself I don't think is dangerous what I find dangerous is the fact that some people allow fear to paralize them.
Syne smiled as she saw Mel take the seat one away from Kris and filled in the empty seat. Sitting down she filled out her journal entry and quiet waited for the professor to begin the class.
-Boggarts- Journal Topic: How dangerous does a boggart seem to you? Well, a boggart takes the shape of your worst fear, so I don't know that it is truely the boggart that is dangerous or you.

Journal Entry 2: Boggarts
Journal Topic: How dangerous does a boggart seem to you? If you don't know what one is, just write you don't know. Boggarts are very dangerous because they can turn into what a person fears the most.
Kris walked into the classroom and sat down at the table behind Syne then wrote down the Journal assignment and waited for the class to begin.

"Brother," Lana said confused. She couldn't imagine someone like Professor Brennan having a brother that was part of the Ministry. Well, it did possess alot of power that people don't realize. But, she didn't know how she felt about a spy from the ministry being here, watching the lesson]
Perhaps he won't report to the ministry all the 'illegal' things the professor would do, Lana reasoned with herself. It's better to send someone close that won't rat you out than a total stranger that would.

Ginny sighed slightly as she entered the classroom. She wondered whether she'd gotten into the club of students Evan would be teaching... she doubted it. She was, after all, a Weasley. It didn't entirely matter whether or not she got in, but she would definitely be disapointed if she didn't. She slung her shoulder bag off her shoulder and it plopped onto the floor, she had chosen a seat in the middle of the classroom. She had gotten out all her materials, and now she began to write her entry:
Ginny Weasley DADA Lesson 2 How dangerous does a boggart seem to you? Boggarts do not seem dangerous to me because I have been taught how to control my fear enough to cast the "Riddikulus" spell and make it a laughable creature instead of a fearful one.
She dropped her quill onto the table and rested her chin on her hand, her elbow in turn resting on the table as she waited for today's lesson to begin. Looking around, she noticed some guy that she hadn't noticed around the school before. She wasn't really fazed by it; afterall, Umbridge had sat in on a lot of classes in her fourth year.
