Aaralyn walked slowly into the room and flipped the sign to 'Open!' Hopefully, soon she would get some customers. She needed the money. She walked down over to the bar and began to wipe the layer of dust off of it.

Jack entered the Three Broomsticks, glad to see that it was open since he was in the mood for a good butterbeer. He saw a young woman cleaning the counter and smiled pleasantly at her. "Looks like I'm the first customer here. A butterbeer please?" Jack asked as he took a seat on one of the booth seats at the counter.

((yay! begin plot... dundundun lol))
Aaralyn looked up quickly and blushed as the man who had just entered asked for a butterbeer. She thought, Well it is the Three Broomsticks, its reasonable he would ask. She grinned to herself and said quietly, "Ok. Just a sec."

Jack nodded, giving the young woman a nice smile as he noticed with a slight trace of embarrassment that she was quite pretty. "I'm surprised there wasn't a sudden burst of customers when you opened the place," he commented as he glanced around the empty room. "It's definitely not like the old days anymore."

Aaralyn grinned and smiled down at the counter, grabbing a butterbeer and handing it to him. She nodded at his comment, "Definately not like the old days." She looked up, "I didn't catch your name?" She asked.

"Jack Brennan," answered Jack quickly. "And since you don't have any type of name tag, I'm going to have to ask for yours too," he added with a smile. He took a sip out of the beer and marveled at the warmth that spread through his body as he drank it. Butterbeer always had a great effect on him.

Aaralyn pulled out another butterbeer and sat down on the other side of the counter. She murmered, "My name is Aaralyn," she smiled shyly. She absently swiped the counter with the rag and glanced up and him, "So what are you doing here in Hogsmeade?"

"That's a pretty name," commented Jack as he took another sip from his butterbeer. He listened to her question and replied, "Basically just getting away from my job. It's a bit busy right now, too busy for my taste. And a good break is definitely appreciated in my book."

Aaralyn nodded in understandment. She sighed, "This is really just a temporary job. I am running it get some extra money to put me through my Auror training. Thats my future job. If I can pass the exams that is."
((all i'm thinking of is Tonks tripping over an umbrella stand lol))

Jack smiled as she explained her want to become an Auror. "An excellent career choice, however I might be a little biased since I am an Auror," he spoke. He chuckled lightly at her end remark and added, "The exams are killer, but don't let that put you off."
((Lol... That's quite random))

She grinned for the first time comfortably. She said in a quiet voice. "Are you? Thats cool. I always wanted to be an Auror." She smiled at his comment, "Well I'm determined to pass. Might take me a few times, but eventually, I'll pass."
