((I'm going to try something new for this lesson, test it out and such. It should alleviate those annoying entrance posts where you have to wait for everyone. So basically, by the time this post is finished, you're seated. No lateness. Even if I've already started, just pretend you've been sitting there the whole time. Onward!))
BIC: Caelum drummed his fingers on his desk in a random, bored sort of way. Behind him, there was writing on the rather dusty blackboard:
He figured that it would be a good way to start off his lessons, even if it was mostly note taking and ridiculously-complicated-to-pronounce names. He was surprised that even four people had signed up; he knew that he sure wouldn't have if he were them, he preferred the "wand waving and silly incantation" lessons, like DADA.
Slowly the students filtered in, chattering amongst themselves as students did. He marked them off on the roll, and stood up to begin the lesson. "Before we start, I'd like to make things clear," he began. "This subject dosn't focus on magic as much as others, though there are some instances in mythology where magic has clearly been used." He looked around at all of the students, speaking clearly and concisely.
"I warn you know that I have no tolerance for trouble making, and will not under any circumstances, hesitate to remove you from the classroom. I don't believe in detentions; if you'd rather muck around in my classroom, I'd prefer you didn't return. It'll be hard work, but interesting and rewarding if you take a genuine interest or have a knack for the subject." he warned firmly. "Now, this class will most likely not have practical magic, only lots of note-taking and discussion. If you have any objections to this, please, by all means, leave the classroom right now." He stared at them to see if they would move, not wanting to waste any time on troublesome students that didn't want to be there.
((Yes, Caelum is going to be a strict teacher . Strict but fair. If anyone doesn't want to do the class anymore, just rp your leaving post, lol.))
